Hinode Atsuki

My consciousness slowly returned but I pretended to not yet have woken. I thought about Rui and how the family was all dead, aside from myself. It saddened me to think about their deaths but I needed to stay in control of my emotions, for now, and assess my situation. I would grieve for them later.

I shifted my body slightly, hopefully not enough to be noticeable, to see how vulnerable my position was. There were ropes on my wrists, keeping them tied behind my back. Wait, if I'm tied then that means I must've been captured! The Water Hashira! He knocked me out! I mentally cursed.

I'd been captured by the Demon Slayer Corps, my enemies.

Another small shift revealed to myself that I was lying on small rocks. It wasn't that painful but not exactly comfortable either. I could also sense many strong auras. They were almost to the point of being overwhelming with their presence.

The way I see it I've got two options. Either I can suddenly try make a run for it, or I can wait to see how this plays out.

Since I didn't have much information to go off of as I couldn't see my surroundings since I was "asleep", I decided to see how this would go without running instantly.

Just as I began to open my eyes, a voice piped up. "Wake up. Hey, I said wake up! Wake..." I wanna give this impatient guy a piece of my mind... They grew more impatient so when I opened my eyes, I pointedly glared at them.

The guy, who wore a tinted version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform and a mask that went with it, noticed I was awake but kept nagging the other who was lying next to me. "Hey! Hey you, boy! C'mon, the girl woke up so now we are waiting on you! C'mon! Are you gonna sleep all day? Wake the hell up, will you?!"

I don't recognise this place... It was an estate. There was a mansion on one side of me. On the other side was a beautiful garden. Most of the ground was covered in pebbles but some parts were greener, plants. There was also a pond. The whole place was surrounded by a wall.

During the masked Slayer's rant to the boy lying and bound on the ground next to me, who turned out to be Nezuko-san's brother, I'd turned towards the powerful auras I'd felt. Six of them. I narrowed my eyes in suspicion and wariness. The strength radiating from them felt familiar. Similar to the Hashira that killed Rui but also different.

Don't tell me...

"Bummer. I heard he was a Demon Slayer with a demon in tow, so I was looking forward to seeing someone flamboyant, but that's one drab-looking dude, huh? The girl on the other hand, she at least has great hair such as myself."

He wore a sleeveless Demon Slayer uniform which displayed his large muscles. His nichirin sword- swords- were strapped to his back, a chain connecting the two together. I couldn't see them clearly but they didn't seem to be the typical regulation ones. His hair was indeed white like mine but tied back in a ponytail. He also had many accessories and some red makeup that matched his eyes. I couldn't tell which Hashira he was.
