The Secret at Disneyland!

This weekend was Jennas birthday! You had initially planned to spend the weekend at home relaxing and binge watching Disney+ with her, more of a chilled out birthday, but something was telling you that you needed to do something big for her. She had been having a tough time at work and she definitely needed a break. So you found yourself reaching out to her sister Aaliyah to see if Jenna ever had a birthday tradition growing up. She told you that as kids they used to go to Disneyland once a year around her birthday and would have a birthday dinner whilst there for her.

So that's when the wheels in your head began turning, you first reached out to the director of the movie she was currently shooting, asking if there was anyway they could clear her schedule from Friday - Monday that weekend. You explained the situation and he managed to juggle some things around so that Jenna wouldn't be needed on set at all, you made him promise not to tell her anything as it was going to be a surprise.

The next thing you sorted was booking a three day excursion to Disneyland, staying from Friday to Sunday, Jennas birthday falling on the Saturday. You arranged for you to stay at the Disney Hotel in a Mickey themed room as Mickey has always been her favourite character! You also managed to get some Magic Bands to make the trip that much more enjoyable. Whilst on the phone with the member of staff who was sorting your booking you may have sneakily mentioned that your girlfriend, who's birthday you were coming to celebrate, happened to be Jenna Ortega, a previous Disney star.

When hearing this, the lady put you on hold and went and spoke to her supervisor, who said that you could book out a room at one of the 'hidden from public' restaurants that are normally extremely booked, and expensive. Not that money would be an issue and you happily said you would cover the cost but they insisted it was for free. They explained how with her magic band, Jenna could open the door that led into the restaurant, we would just need to add the feature to the band upon our arrival.

After ensuring that everything was booked, you decided to throw in one last surprise. You reached out to Natalie, telling her the plan, and asked that if you covered the cost, would she and the family be able to fly out to be with them for Jennas birthday. She confirmed that they were in fact free that weekend, and that she didn't want you to pay for anything. You managed to compromise that you would cover the cost of the flights for the family, if she covered the cost of their hotel for the weekend. After sorting out the flights for both yourself and Jenna, and her family, you were finally able to relax a little.

Jenna had just walked through the door as you were dishing up dinner for the two of you. She looked so drained and you felt so awful that she was exhausted. "Hey baby, how was work" you asked, giving her a kiss as she wrapped her arms around your neck. "Same shit different day" she sighed kissing you again "But Steve said that they didn't need me in from today until Tuesday so at least I have my birthday weekend off" she added with a small smile. You had to hold back a grin, knowing full well that you were the reason behind it. "About that baby, your manager said she was trying to get ahold of you earlier but her call wasn't connecting so she called me, they want me and you to fly out to Florida tomorrow morning for an interview" you told her.

She groaned and rolled her eyes. "One weekend, that's all I ask for, is one weekend that I can spend with my girlfriend and relax a little" she whined and pulled you in for another hug. You would feel bad, but you knew she would appreciate it when the surprise was revealed. "I know baby, but think, at least we're going together this time, maybe we can stay out for tomorrow and fly back on your birthday and relax at home" you said sympathetically. She nodded into your shoulder. You walked her to the table and made her sit whilst you fixed her plate and brought her some food.
