"Am I making the right decision?"

Yunseo could only look at his older sister, not wanting to answer her question. He only shrugged his shoulders in silence.

"You are definitely useless." Yunhee blurted out and Yunseo fired back with, "So are you."

They kept silent for some time, trying to think on how to handle their situation.

"Do you like him that much?" asked Yunseo while sparing a glance on Yunhee from the corner of his eye. "The decision is still on you because it's your feeling anyway."

"I don't know why I fell for him this much," Yunhee spoke. "Was it because he kissed me that night? I don't even know."

"How different from what you've felt when you and Keita are still together?"

"Why is Keita suddenly in our talk?"

Yunseo sighed before saying, "Sis, just answer my question. It wouldn't hurt anyone."

Disapproval was painted all over Yunhee's face, but she still responded to the given question. "What I feel towards Yoshinori is very far from what I've felt for Keita before. This one is driving me insane and I don't even know why."

"Why do you even like him?"

"Look, Yunseo─I don't know, okay? This is why I don't want to go back home with you," said Yunhee. "I don't want to see him just yet. I have to sort everything out because I do not want to tell him such words that I am not sure yet."

Then, it was settled. Yunseo went back with his mom, leaving Yunhee on their hometown as she wanted to stay there for a while.

"Man, don't cry in front of me because I might cry along with you." Mahiro tells Yoshinori who is seated beside him, all teary eyed.

The latter still sat silently, eyes staring at the view below them as they were seated by the rooftop of the university. This place would always be a comfort zone for the two boys. They could be found up here during their free time or when they want to skip classes.

"Mahiro, have you ever liked someone?"

The question came out randomly from Yoshinori's mouth. Not that he's curious on it about Mahiro, but he just wants to know something.

"Of course!" Mahiro beamed. "I'd say, pretty Park Jaeyeol."

Yoshinori whipped his head on the side, eyes squinted as he gazed on Mahiro. "What the actual fuck, Hidaka Mahiro? Are you serious?"

Mahiro returned the gaze that Yoshinori is giving him. "I am serious, Kanemoto Yoshinori. Say, why do you think Jaeyeol and I know each other─oh, shit. I wasn't supposed to say that. Stupid, Mahiro."

"Why would you even ask me that?" Yoshinori questions the latter as his gaze began to get sharp. "Am I missing something, Mahiro?"

The latter quickly shook his head. "That's why I stopped before I could even finish the question because you don't know Jaeyeol anyway," Mahiro explained naturally as if it wasn't a lie that he spat out. "But, yeah. She was the only person that I liked. We were roommates before when I moved here, that's why."

Yoshinori then hummed as he averted his gaze on Mahiro. "I see," he says. "What do you like about her? If it's okay for you to answer."

"Man, that girl is spicy," Mahiro laughs. "She's like about to hit me everytime she gets home and witness the mess on our shared apartment. But, she's nice and all─just don't get on her nerves. She's someone who can stand for herself and others. She only fears being left by the people she cares the most."

There was a moment of silence before Mahiro decided to speak again after recollecting some memories of the past. "That time when I did not tell her that I was about to leave our place, I was surprised at what happened. Jaeyeol was confused on why I came out of my room carrying bags and I told her that I was sorry for not telling her that I'm leaving because I need to go back to Japan."

"What happened then?" Yoshinori asked as curiosity hit him.

"She cried," Mahiro responded. "But what surprised me is that, she begged for me not to leave her alone because it would make her feel lonely and she's afraid that I might not come back. She made promises like, she would not nag at me anymore or even boss around just for me to stay. That's when I realized that even though she's giving me those kind of treatment whenever I trigger the beast inside her, she doesn't want me to leave because she's comfortable around me and that my bright personality did something to her."

"I hate to say this, but that's cute," Yoshinori says, mumbling the last word.

That made Mahiro grin. "You think so? Because I do."

"Did she happen to like you?"

"Oh," Mahiro mouthed out as his grin disappeared. "She never said anything since I did not confess my feelings to her. Maybe she did not or I'm just too stupid to not notice. I'm not that type to confess just to date, you know what I'm saying? I'm just fine liking her, that's it."

That hit a nerve on Yoshinori's system. He is confused on what he feels toward Yunhee.

Is he doing all of these because he likes her? Or is it because he wanted to take responsibility on what he did that night that made her feel butterflies and ended up liking him?
