What is love without some distance
Making you think about your lonesome existence
As it rips into your tiresome heart
you lay begging for it not to tear you apart
You will have to help them climb
As they slowly leave
You know it's just a matter of time
Before you have to grieve
You can't hide from the coming truth
That you miss them so
Loving them for all your youth
As your feelings slowly grow
You'll try to sit alone and ponder
But, distance does make the heart grow fonder
