(This part mostly focuses on Wednesday and the first episode, and while Anax will be briefly mentioned, he will appear in the next chapter)

You ever get that feeling where you think you'll hate something, but over time you've come to... enjoy it?

Well, that's exactly what Wednesday Addams will go through, only she was still at the 'I'll hate this place with every bone in my body' phase. And it wasn't a thing, rather a school that she first hates but soon starts to like it a bit more.

Nevermore Academy.

I'm sure this part explains things a bit.

"Wednesday is certainly a unique name." A women commented on, her name was Larissa Weems, the principal and former roommate to Morticia Addams. "I'm guessing from the day you were born." "I was born on Friday the 13th." Wednesday replied, straight to the point.

Wednesday looked like death herself, with raven black hair tied into braided pigtails and very pale skin. She never showed emotion, only when it comes to... certain conditions would she ever show even the slightest hint of emotion. One that many people take notice of is on her left hand, was a ring on her middle finger. The ring itself was also black with a gem on it, only thing is you would always find her wearing the ring, either on her hand or as a makeshift necklace when doing activities.

"Her name comes from my favorite nursery rhyme, 'Wednesday's child is full of woe," Morticia explained towards Larissa. "You've always had a unique perspective of the world, Morticia." Weems said. "Did you know we were roommates back in the day?" "And you graduated with your sanity in check? Impressive." Sensing the tension, Weems shifted the topic. "You've certainly had a interesting academic journey. Eight schools in five years?"

There was a reason for that, but let's not push ourselves.

"They haven't built one strong enough to home me. I bet this place won't be any different," Wednesday said as she rubbed the ring on her finger lightly. "Nevermore doesn't usually except students in the middle of the semester, but given Wednesday's perfect grades and your family's long history with the school, I've spoken with the board and we've made two exceptions." Morticia and Gomez were pleased to hear this, but something caught Wednesday's eye as she heard what the principal said. "I thought I was the only one transferring, who's the other?""Ah, well I can't say his name, but his initials are A.S, and he will be coming here by next week, as he's coming from England."

Wednesday felt her heart pick up a bit and she touched the ring on her finger as she thought of the initials of who this person could be."Getting back on topic, what about Wednesday's um... therapy sessions? The court ordered them." "There's a therapist for Nevermore students in Jericho, she can meet twice a week."

Gomez and Addams were pleased their little storm cloud was in good hands, but Wednesday didn't share that same feeling. "We'll see if she survives the first lesson." She wasn't kidding about that part, last one she had was driven mad and needed a therapist herself. "I've assigned you to your Mothers old dorm, Ophelia Hall," Weems said as Morticia looked with a smile on her face as Wednesday turned to look at her mother. "Refresh my memory, Ophelia is the one who killed herself after being driven mad by her family," which Morticia smiles at her.

"Shall we meet your new roommate?"

When the family and the principal reached the room, all Wednesday could say was she was soooo not happy about the rainbow in the room. Her parents also had the same thought process as her father commented how vivid it was. Soon a girl with blond hair with blue and pink dyed tips and cheery smile on her face came up to them. "Howdy, roomie!"

"Wednesday, this is Enid Sinclair." "Are you feeling ok? You look a little pale." Enid asked, looking concerned. "Wednesday always looks half dead," and now Enid is trying to be all buddy-buddy with Wednesday. "Welcome to Ophelia Hall!" She tries to give Wednesday a hug, but the girl steps back in disgust on the hug. Which Morticia tries to ease the situation, only Wednesday is not exactly pleased on the idea.
