It was the night of the Rave'N and everything was in full swing. The students were busy talking and dancing with each other. Ms. Thornhill was welcoming the students as they walked inside the area. The whole theme was white and looked as though it was icy and snowy, hence the yeti statue near the DJ. Weems was busy looking over the students as Thornhill walked up to her. Their short conversation was about how Weems was rejected by a guy and how someone brought a human to the Rave'N. But Weems decided to say who took the guys hand in the dance. "Morticia Frump, in fact. And Annabelle brought Damon Spade to the dance," she commented. "Wednesday's mother? And Anax's parents?" Weems nodded and went off with to watch over the other students.

At the dorms, Wednesday was getting ready to watch over the cave. Suddenly she paused for a moment as she looked at her ring, which Thing took notice of. Whatever she was thinking was quickly dismissed as she continued to pack her bag. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "I'm coming," she said as she made her way to the door, which Thing had an idea of who was outside the door. "Hey, did you grab any extra batteries for the flash-" what she was saying was cut off as she opened the door to find Anax standing there.

(Just without the giant like jacket and like formal gloves-and yes I used Wriothesley's main outfit cause like come on! LOOK AT HIM!!!!)

Anax looked... Wednesday couldn't even think because of how surprised she was in seeing Anax looking- and dare she say it- handsome and dashing. He was also smirking while holding a bouquet of dead and black flowers in one hand. He also had on a cologne that smelled like roses and death.

"Anax", she whispered as her heart started beating a bit more faster. "I know, I know, you wanted to stake out the monster, but I was not gonna let the opportunity slip through me one more time like last time." Anax then handed her the flowers as she held them in her hands. "What do you mean last time?" She was confused. "I mean about the ring and our childhood," he stated as he grabbed her hand with the ring on it. "I always felt infatuated with you in our youth, but I didn't realize until I moved away that you meant more to me than ever. It wasn't until two years ago that I vowed if I were to see you again, I was not gonna part from you again." He put her hand down as Wednesday had slight color on her cheeks. "I'll be waiting downstairs for you, I hope you won't disappoint me." And with that he closed her door. Wednesday looked at the flowers and back at Thing.

"Don't act smug if you know what's best for you," she said as she walked over to her closet to find a dress. However, Thing snapped his fingers to show Wednesday something on her bed. And on it was the dress she saw at the antique shop. "How'd you pay for it?" She questioned as she picked up the dress, but Thing held up his hand as he moved on the bed. "Five-finger discount, of course. Thing, don't look," she said as she started to change while Thing moved to not see her change.

Anax was looking at the trophy case to pass the time as he adjusted his gloves, but he heard footsteps ascend down the stairs as he turned around. It was Wednesday in the dress with side buns on her head. Anax smirked as he walked up to her. "Wow, you look-" he was saying but Wednesday beat him to it. "Unrecognizable? Ridiculous? A classic example of female objectification for the male gaze?" All Anax did was take her hand. "Perfect, is what I was gonna say," he said as he used his Dendro to make corsage. Wednesday had a small amount of color on her cheeks but Eugene made his way up to the two. "Wednesday, Anax, what's going on? What happened to staking out the cave?" Before Wednesday could say anything, Anax beat her to it. "Eugene, you may not know this yet, but I wasn't gonna let this opportunity slip away from me again. I don't want you to do this alone, so we can stake the cave out tomorrow, but right now I need you to stand down." Anax said as he laid a hand on Eugene's shoulder. "Understood?" Eugene was silent, but he nodded in response. Wednesday was silent as Anax locked his arm with hers. "Try anything and you'll go missing," she murmured but Anax just smirked a bit. Eugene turned around as he had a look of determination. "A Hummer never shy's away from danger," he said to himself as he walked off.
