Parents weekend, a time where the students spend time with their families and share what they had seen and done in the school. But for Wednesday and Anax, they certainly did not feel that type of excitement of meeting their families, Anax especially.
The only family member he could tolerate is his aunt who took him in, but even if his other family members came, he was certainly giving them nightmares. Right now, he and Wednesday were up on the second level to watch Weems make a announcement, Anax's arm wrapped around Wednesday's waist.
"Nevermore was created as a safe haven for our children to learn and to grow, no matter who or what they are," Weems was saying as she was doing as everyone clapped at the small speech. "I realize most of you have heard of the unfortunate accident involving one of our students. But I'm happy to report that Eugene is on the mend is expected to make a full recovery. So let's focus on the positive and make this Parent's weekend our very best yet." Weems said as everyone clapped again, students mingling with their parents.
However, Wednesday and Anax were not that happy about it. "On the mend? Try in a coma," Wednesday muttered as she crossed her arms, which Anax noticed a hint of sadness in her tone. "I see you haven't seen him yet," Anax commented as he looked at her. "I'm the reason he's in the hospital." "Now, don't go blaming yourself, okay? That wasn't your fault or mine, if anything it's the monster's fault this happened. The injury I gave it must have affected it as it hasn't attacked anyone in the past week, yet I'm still unsatisfied I didn't injure it more." Anax said as Wednesday placed her hand on his. "I wouldn't be surprised if it wanted to hide away this weekend," Wednesday said. Anax kissed her forehead as he looked down at the quad, seeing a certain family enter the grounds. "Hmm, would you look at that?" Anax said as Wednesday looked and saw her family there, which she wasn't exactly happy about. "I knew I should've worn my plague mask." She mumbled as Anax chuckled a bit. "I'll come down in five minutes, give you some time to talk with your family." Anax said as he let go, which caused Wednesday to pull him down for a quick kiss, before she pulled away and walked off.
And yes, in case you couldn't tell, the two were officially a couple. Enid had a field day when she heard about it. While Wednesday was somewhat upset that her mother was right about finding love at Nevermore, she has to admit that being together with Anax felt... right. Anax told her that he will take things slow with her if she chooses, but he won't hold back when it comes to affection. He just needs to do it when there's few people around less he wants his head cut off.
Wednesday walked over to her family as Gomez greeted her first. "There she is. Oh how we missed those accusing eyes and youthful sneer," Gomez said as he gave Wednesday a hug which she did not give back. "How are you, my little rain cloud?" Morticia asked her daughter. "I thought Thing was filling you in on my every move," Wednesday said as her parents looked at each other. I uncovered your feeble subterfuge almost immediately." "So, how's the little fella doing? Does he still have all his fingers? Gomez questions as he wiggled his own fingers aswell.
"Relax, I haven't snapped any of his digits. Yet," Wednesday said as her parents looked relieved. "So tell us everything." "Since you've abandoned me here, I've been hunted, haunted, and the target of an attempted murder." Which her response is music to her parents ears. "Ah, Nevermore, I love you so." Gomez said as he looked around at the school. "Don't forget to mention you've rekindled with an old partner," a voice said as Anax walked up to the Addams. Morticia and Gomez looked in amazement at Anax. "Anax Spade, what a surprise," Morticia commented as he stood next to Wednesday. "Yep, I actually came here a week after Wednesday and the experience so far has been... amazing," Anax said as he looked down at Wednesday. "I'm glad to see that Wednesday has a familiar face here at the school." Gomez commented as Anax chuckled as he had a smirk on his face. "Actually, me and Weds here..." he started as he wrapped his arm around her waist ".. Have become something more than friends." Wednesday glared at him as her parents looked at each other in happiness. "Oh, I knew this day would come!" Morticia said as Anax glanced down at the goth who only glared at him.

Anax was in the twin square looking at the deformation on the statue. Suddenly he heard a voice call out to him. "It's been some time, nephew," the voice said, revealing it to be his aunt, Madeline. He turned around as he looked at her. "I figured you'd come here. If I found my so-called family were to show up I-" he was saying as he suddenly paused as he looked behind her, seeing a figure walking up to the two. It was his father, Damon Spade. Madeline touched his shoulder as she whispered, "I didn't know about this," she whispered as Anax glared at the man who walks up to the two."Anax"
"Damon."
"I'm your father-" "Don't pull that with me, you stopped being my parents the moment you forced me away from Wednesday." Anax said as he crossed his arms. "It was for your own good, I didn't need you around those people, why do you think I moved from this place?" Damon said as he adjusted his sleeves. "You mean how your ancestors were outcasts and you waited for your powers to fade and tried doing the same with me?" That caught him off guard as he looked at his son. "How'd you know that?" "You can answer that yourself, and besides," Anax growled as he used his ice to freeze his father's feet in place, "you need to get that ice taken care of."
And with that, he walked off.
However, his ears caught the voice of Morticia as he saw her and the other Addams walk out of the therapy office. "What were you thinking? How could you ambush your father like that? Wednesday." Morticia scolded her daughter as Wednesday turned around to face her mother. "How could I? You insisted I go to this school. Did you really think I wouldn't find out your secret? One of the only things that make that place bearable is Anax." "You don't know the whole story. Your father did nothing wrong." "I'll be the judge of that." Was what Wednesday said as she turned around and saw Anax standing there a few feet away, which she walked over to as he followed her.
Who knew that now they both have parent problems?
