"Oh my gosh! Wednesday Addams is going to the Rav'N. My whole world is tilted!"
Yep, Enid is over the moon about Wednesday going to the Rav'N. Anax left because he saw this to try and search the area for evidence about the beast.
"You know what you need?"
"A bullet to the head?"
While Wednesday is not happy about this conversation, she doesn't exactly know how to feel about dancing with Anax, let alone as dates. Her logical mind is saying to burn him alive if he tries anything, but her black heart is slightly beating faster when she thinks about him.
"A bullet to the head?"
"A dress!" "I already have one." "Not the one you showed up here! That thing was a fashion emergency not even lighting could resuscitate. Thing back me up here!"
Thing just gave a thumbs up, as though agreeing with Enid.
"You need a dress that Anax can't even take his eyes off you, screaming 'First date, stand back bitches! The best date has arrived!' And I know just the place!" Enid said as she was excited to go shopping.
Wednesday on the other hand, was not thrilled at Enid's choice in store. "What kind of dystopian hellscape is this?" Yeah, the store was SO not Wednesday. "Our first roomie shopping spree! The school dance committee is suggesting all white to match the theme, but that's not gonna fly with us." Enid said towards Wednesday.
"I have more pressing matters than to worry about a dress for a dance that I'm regretting asking Anax about." Of course, Enid is a bit upset about it. "But I thought we were bonding.""I fear I'll only slow you down. Your a gazelle. I'm a wounded fawn. Cut me lose and go run with the pact." Wednesday said as she was trying to leave the discussion. "Are you sure?" Enid asked, which Wednesday only nodded in response. That's when Enid decided to go inside and follow the other girls in the shop.
Wednesday walked off to the police station, however Thing wanted her to see something. "I'm going to see Galpin. I'm not stop-" however, she cut herself off as she took a look at the window. The display showed off a beautiful black antique dress, with ruffles along the shoulders and spilling out at the waist. It even had Wednesday think a few things about going to the dance with Anax all the more different. However, Dr. Kinbott chose this moment to walk out of the store. "Hey, Wednesday." She looked over at the same dress. "That dress will certainly turn some heads." She said, but Wednesday decided to change the topic. "Are you collecting exotic trinkets for your office?" "Those are souvenirs from my travels. That's how I step out of my comfort zone. Speaking of which, are you going to the Rave'N this weekend?"
"I'm not required to answer your questions out in the wild, am I?" "I look forward to talking about it in our next session." Dr.Kinbott said to Wednesday. Wednesday soon continued her way to the police station, however, she noticed Anax make his way inside. Curious about what he was doing, she decided to try and eavesdrop. "Hydro," she whispered as her ring glowed blue and a small screen showed up in front of her, showing Anax talking with Sheriff Galpin.
Anax starts by showing the picture from Xavier's shed in water form. "Me, Wednesday, and you know that a monster is out there, wreaking havoc in this town. And I'm usually the one who causes problems." He said as he moved the picture aside. "Unfortunately, that would mean having to work together for this to happen." Anax said as he crossed his arms. "And this is your stake for me to deal you in?" He pulled out a picture to compare the two, however he wasn't budging. "I'm sorry, you gotta do better than that. You got some nice detail though." "While I do dabble in the arts, I haven't drawn it. And before you say anything, unless we are providing intel I'm not allowed to say anything." Anax said.
