Abby's POV:

"You can wear these," I said, trying to hand her my clothes. But she didn't say or do anything. I looked down at her and noticed her blushing face. "Take her," my wolf demanded. Without thinking, I dropped the clothes and pinned her against the wall. Skye looked up at me with those innocent eyes, and it made me want to lose control. To fuck her senseless right then and there. "What's wrong baby? You were in your own world there for a bit," my hands now gripping her waist. I couldn't help but smirk. "N-nothing," she stuttered.

"You fluster so easily baby. Makes me wanna do unspeakable things to you," my hand held her chin, making her look up at me. I could smell how aroused she was, I wanted to kiss her lips so fucking bad. "So why don't you do those things," she said, with an innocent look. "Take her to the bed now!" my wolf screamed. I had to control myself, Skye is tiny and fragile. I'd break her if I fucked her right now. "We can't do that right now, she's not ready," I sighed. "You're not ready for that little one," I said, pulling myself away from her.

Skye let out a whimper and covered her mouth in shock. I couldn't help but smile. "One day I'll have my way with you. But right now you're going to put these clothes on," I handed her the clothes. "Okay," Skye said, sounding defeated. "I have a feeling she's gonna make it hard for me to control myself," I sighed, getting ready for the day.

Skye's POV:

Abby guided me through the back door, and Jessica and Ben were already waiting for us. They both had devilish grins on their faces, but Jessica's quickly changed when Abby stared down at her. Ben folded his arms looking at me.

"Took you long enough, I could smell your arousal-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Abby pulled me behind her with an almost death-like grip on my waist. "Watch it Ben!" Abby said growling through gritted teeth. "I was just messing with you," Ben threw his hands up. "As interesting as it is to watch you test the boundaries, I don't want to attend a funeral in my first few weeks of being here,'' I said laughing, while also trying to calm Mrs.Protective down. Jessica and Ben laughed with me, but Abby didn't budge. She was still holding me behind her. I took my hand and rubbed her upper back. I could now feel her toned back through her clothes. "Hey, should we get going? Or should we stand here all day," I smiled at her. "Let's go," she said, loosening her death grip.

10 minutes later

"So are you three siblings or..just friends living in the same house," I questioned. "Abby is like my adopted sister. Her parents took me in when I was a kid. And Jessica is the cold-hearted best friend," Ben explained. "More like the unwanted adopted brother," Jessica laughed. "Hey!" Ben pretended to pout. "And I live in the pack house because soon, Abby will be the Alpha." Abby could tell that I was still confused on why they were all under one roof. "An Alpha has their Beta and Delta, Jess will be my beta and Ben will be my Delta. Being the three higher ups in the pack, it's easier to live together." Abby explained. I nodded my head.

"So you wanna tell me why you want to go to the tree?" Abby questioned. "Oh right!" I almost forgot. I told them about Goddess Veronica being my mother and how she said her tree would help me with my so-called 'powers'. Abby nodded understanding what I was saying, while the other two were shocked at what they were hearing. "Wait so, you're a Demi-Goddess?! Goddess Veronica's daughter?!" Ben asked loudly. "I suppose so, I mean there's no reason for her to tell a lie like that," I sighed.

Just as I said that, we finally made it to the tree. "You two keep a lookout," Abby pointed them in two directions. Ignoring them, I went straight to the trunk of the tree. "Are you gonna spy on me through the leaves this time," I turned to Abby with a smile. She scratched the back of her neck in embarrassment. I reached my hand out for hers. Taking my hand, I had her sit on the ground with me. I always dreamed of a moment like this, interacting with nature with the love of my life by my side. I placed my hand on the tree and sang my song.

While I was singing I could feel a slight buzzing in my body. It felt like...power. Finishing my song, I looked at my now glowing hand. I turned to look back at Abby as I could feel her intense stare. "You have such a beautiful voice...and your eyes change to gold when you sing..." she said dazed.

"My eyes change?"

"Yeah.."

"Well I've never sung to my reflection so...I never noticed that," I shrugged.

20 minutes later

"Jess, you stay out here, and Ben watch the back," Abby said following me into the apartment building. I dug out a suitcase from my closet and packed things like clothes, jewelry, make-up and some of my favorite books. Abby just stood back looking at my place. Leaving my bedroom, my eyes zoned in one the broken door hinges. Images started playing in my mind from that night. Tears started dwelling in my eyes.

I felt warm strong hands grab my face, pulling me back to reality. "Let's leave those bad memories here, Yeah?" Abby caressed my face. Not trusting my voice, I nodded. I was more than happy to leave bad memories behind. Abby grabbed my suitcase and we headed back to the pack house...my new home. A smile now grew on my face.
