Chapter 14: Growth

Skye's POV:

5 years later;

It's been 5 years since it all happened. Abby and I got married 4 years ago, right after we adopted Owen. It took him a while but he started calling me 'mom' and Abby 'ma'. The day it happened, Abby and I fell asleep with tears of joy. He hasn't forgotten about his birth parents, I made sure of it. The way he sees it, he just got lucky and ended up with four parents. I hear him talking to their spirits every night. And he has grown so much over the past couple years. He's 11 years old now. Not only has Owen grown over the years, but our family has grown.

I gave birth to Hazel 3 years ago. She has Abby's eyes, my hair and my mother's smile. She looks sweat on the outside, but I swear she can be evil when she wants to. And unfortunately both my pups are stubborn just like me. It's a little scary when those two team up on you. Other than pups being brought into the family, both Jessica and Ben have found their mates. Jessica found her girl while we were on a camping trip. And Ben found both his mates, yes there's two, while he was visiting his family.

*BUZZ BUZZ**

The timer on my phone went off. "Okay, is it positive?..Or negative," I took a deep breath preparing myself. Then I flipped the pregnancy test over. "Holy shit i knew it!" I screamed quietly to myself. It was only 5 in the morning, so everyone else was still sleeping. I put my hand over my stomach, "Thank you mom."

*RING RING**

I looked back at my phone and saw that Angel was calling. She also had suspicions about this. "Well what does the test say?!" she asked eagerly. "I'm Pregnant!" I yelled quietly into the phone. "I knew it! I bet you're having twins-"

"Woah woah woah, don't say that," I laughed. "Baby?" Abby was standing behind me. "What are you doing? Other than watching the sunrise," she questioned. "Hey I gotta go, I've been caught," I chuckled while hanging up the phone. I hid the pregnancy test behind my back. "Now I need you to contain your excitement when I tell you something, we don't want to wake anyone yet," I started. "Umm okay.."

"We're having another pup my love," I said, handing her the test. Her eyes widened with shock and joy. Trying to contain her excitement, she embraced me tightly. "I love you so much mi amor," she whispered. "I love you more baby," I replied. She pulled away slightly to look me in my eyes. "Hey, let's not start that fight," We both started laughing. Life couldn't get any better than this..
