LOCATION: RHIA FORMAN'S BEDROOM

it was a monday and rhia forman was bored. she absolutely could not be downstairs with her grandparents the way they are. she wasn't going to listen to music only because her grandma had music blasting in the kitchen. all she could really do was wait for her aunt, uncle, and cousin to arrive.

it was only a few minutes after that thought when she heard a car door and her grandmother start yelling downstairs.

"i got it! i got it!" she could hear her grandmother repeating as she walked down the stairs to greet her family as they came in.

just as she reached the bottom of the stairs, her grandmother had already whipped open the door, only to be met with her star struck uncle.

after a long reunion with the family, they all ended up in the kitchen talking about what leia and her dad were doing, only getting caught while leaving to go play basketball.

"permission to have fun, over" her uncle spoke as he mimed a walkie talkie.

"permission granted" leia begrudgingly said after he prompted her twice. after a few more awkward moments, leia and rhia were finally outside playing basketball.

their basketball game was promptly cut short, only because leia got distracted by a disembodied voice loudly singing alanis morissette. as leia started to go towards the voice, rhia followed her.

after less then a minute of walking, they ended up outside of gwen's bedroom window. now, rhia had known and been friends with gwen for two years. but she wasn't gonna mention that to leia, who looked in awe of the girl.

after a couple of moments, gwen turned and saw leia and rhia standing there, and leia frantically ducked under the windowsill as rhia watched gwen come and open the window.

"what were you doing, creeper?" gwen asked in a confused manner and leia stood back up.

"oh nothing weird, i was just standing outside your window, watching you sing and wondering what it would be like to be you." leia seemed to spit out in spite of her own mind. "we'll go now, unless you wanna hear a cool bootleg i got in chicago."

once leia had left and came back, the three of them all ended up in gwen's room listening to leia's bootleg.

"so this was your mom, and your aunt's, old room? and your dad lived next door? i bet they boned in here all the time." gwen callously said making both leia and rhia widen their eyes, leia more than rhia. gwen then proceeded to make up a story about being able to hear leia's parents at night. "sorry, i love making people uncomfortable." gwen apologized as she sat down on her bed.

"you're really good at it." leia said, crossing her arms over her chest. visibly uncomfortable.

gwen asked about chicago and leia then revealed that she wasn't cool by leading with debate club.

"good. popular people suck." gwen said as she got up and turned up the volume on her stereo. just after she turned it up, her brother, nate, stormed in with a razor in his hand and shaving cream on the top of his chest.

"damn it gwen! turn that crap down, i'm trying to shave!" nate basically yelled before leaving again.

"that's my older brother. different dads. he's cool, easy to mess with." gwen explained to leia before proceeding to turn the volume up even more. nate stormed in again not even 5 seconds later.

"gwen! this whiny vagina music is bumming me out and i almost nicked my nerps!" he yelled as he walked over and turned off the music completely.

"well me, rhia, and my new friend are gonna start a band and call it whiny vagina!" gwen yelled back at him.

"well i'm gonna start a band and call it thats stupid!" nate yelled back and congratulated himself before leaving for the last time.

gwen then started the music again, and just over it, the three of them heard nate yelling from the bathroom.

hey! so so sorry this took so long to come out, but i've decided that i'm gonna try my best to split all the episodes up into three parts if i can, two at the least. don't know when the next chapter is gonna be out, but we'll get our first looks at rhia and jay's relationship! see you soon!!
