Above is a picture of what Felix's shift looks like, but he's about the size of a large pony.

***

Felix hadn't shifted in years, and pain lingered as his body tore apart, and reformed. He was a Lupus Filidae, a large black and gray cat. He had burning yellow eyes, and a mane of smokey grey fur. His body was mostly black, but it was mixed with gray, and at the tips of his ears were tufts of fur sticking straight up. His tail was long and thick with fur.

He ran as fast as he could, straight into the woods. He couldn't look back, he was so tired, yet all he could do was keep running.

After what felt like hours, he found a spot of fluffy moss beneath a tree, and collapsed with exhaustion. There was no point in going back, no one wanted him there anyways. He shifted back, not caring if anyone found him, and felt sleep tugging his eyes closed. Before his consciousness fully slipped, he thought he saw a large figure moving towards him, but he couldn't bring him self to do anything and gave into the oncoming darkness of sleep.

Felix didn't know how long he was out, but when he awoke he shot straight up, eyeing his surroundings warily. He was in a small white room, with a high ceiling, and he looked down to find himself dressed in black shorts, and a scratchy black shirt. He was laying in a large, round cushion, with a thick blanket on top, almost like a dog bed, he thought. As he further examined the room, he saw a bowl attached to the wall, filled with water.

He didn't notice before, but his throat was extremely dry, and he slowly crept over to the bowl. He eyed the water suspiciously, before giving it a whiff. It's just water. He cupped some of it in his hands, and gulped it down as quickly as possible. As soon as he was done he rushed back to the bed, and dove under the blanket.

Before long he was dozing off again, but woke suddenly to a strange whooshing noise. He looked up and a thick smoke looking substance oozing out of the ceiling. He panicked, and tried to over his mouth with the blanket, holding his breath, but soon the gas filled the whole room, and he had no choice, but to take a breath. He took one large gulp of air, and that was all it took for his mind to feel foggy and his body to fall limply to the floor. He could still see, but his mind felt sluggish, and he couldn't move his body.

The gas slowly dissipated, but he was stuck on the floor. Behind his head he heard a buzzing noise, before large footsteps started heading towards him. Felix's breathing picked up, and he started trembling. His mind felt slow, but the insistent need to run and hide still crept in. Suddenly the footsteps stopped, right behind him. He could barely see it out of the corner of his vision, but whatever it was, it was huge.

He was slowly lifted by large hands, and as he was turned he got a good look at the alien behind him. It was at least twelve feet tall, and had white skin. It was dressed in what looked like the scrubs a nurse would wear. He looked at its face and saw it's blue eyes, and long hair the same color. It placed Felix against its chest, much to his dismay, and started walking towards the direction it came from.

He hadn't noticed anything on the wall, but as soon as the alien approached it, the wall buzzed and slid open. They walked straight through the opening and into a darker hallway.

At the end of the hallway was a large room, with a table in the middle, and another alien. This new alien was almost the same, but it's eyes and hair were a darker blue, and it was wearing casual clothing. It was then that Felix noticed a large metal box on the table. He watched with horror as he was placed in the box, and bars slid down across the opening.

The aliens seemed to be having a conversation above him, but it sounded more like the babbles of a toddler. Their conversation didn't last long, and Felix could see the new alien moving closer, through the bars. It picked up the box he was in easily, and started walking out of the building. When the alien stepped outside Felix could see what almost looked like a regular town, except everything was much larger, and equally larger aliens were walking around.

They headed towards a large boxy looking car. The trunk popped open, and Felix was placed inside. He heard a loud click as it shut, and felt the alien getting into the car, before the ending roared to life. The stress of the new situation along with whatever they had drugged him with caused exhaustion to settle deep in his bones, and before he knew it Felix was out like a light.
