Being a dragon blood has left me with many questions about myself. Why couldn't I feel my powers? Why didn't my magic work on earth? The questions have yet to be answered let alone not helping me to find out who I am. Everything I thought about myself was a lie. Being a royal has been my dream and I thought it was only in fairy tales and stories.
When you dream about something you should still believe it can happen. I got changed and ready for the night. Then I got a knock on the door.
*Knock* *Knock*
"Who is it?" I asked
"Oliver. Can I come in?" Oliver asked
"Yeah come in," I said
"Are you ready to go?" Oliver asked
"Yeah, How do I look?" I asked walking out of the bathroom
"You look amazing," Oliver said with a smile
I laughed as his face turned red. We walked out of the room and went into town. Oliver had something planned for me, but I'm unsure what it is. We kept walking for what seemed like hours. We walked up a hill that felt like a mountain and the fireflies glowed like Christmas lights. The flowers there were violet and indigo. The path changed from a dirt-crystal path to a gray brick path with roses growing in the cracks.
When we got to the top there were lanterns on a table with two chairs. Then Oliver took my hand and took me over to the table. I sat down and he smiled, but his smile glowed by the light of the lanterns. Oliver picked up the lantern and softly raised it into the sky. I took mine and raised it in the sky as it floated softly into the air.
The clouds passed by in the air and as the lanterns glowed the shadow of a dragon flew through the clouds. As I looked closer someone was on the dragon it looked like a figure with a skull mask. Who was that guy or girl? I wasn't quite sure, to be honest.
"Hey there a figure with a skull mask on the dragon," I said pointing
"A figure with a skull mask!" Oliver yelled as his eyes widened
"Yeah?" I said confused
Oliver grabbed my hand and took me to the castle and made sure no one was following us. I was very confused about what was going on. I caught my breath and I looked at Oliver as he kept looking outside.
"Oliver what is going on!" I yelled
"You and your siblings are in danger!" Oliver exclaimed
"What do you mean!" I yelled crossing my arms
"You siblings are being watched but not taken due to them having a lover," Oliver said, closing the door.
I was in shock and pure confusion. That didn't make any sense whatsoever me and my siblings were being watched by this figure with a skull mask. I was so confused and then there was a knock on the door. Oliver carefully opened the door and it was the figure with the skull mask.
"May I come in?" The figure asked
"Yeah," Oliver said being safe
"Don't worry I'm not here to hurt you," The figure said
"I'm here to give something to you Draco," The figure continued
"For me? What is it?" I asked
The figure grabbed something out of their pocket and it was a small box for a ring. I was confused about the box it had. The figure handed the small box to me and I opened it and it was a glowing ring. I took it out of the box and put on my figure and it started glowing purple, red, blue, then black.
"This will protect you from any danger," The figure said
Then before I could say thank you the figure was gone. Oliver's face was pale as the sand on the beach. After that day is something I'm never going to forget. Who was the figure? What did they really want? Why are they stalking my siblings? I guess the answer will await soon.
