the lunch bell had just gone off when you were headed towards your locker to grab something to eat.
you snatched your paper bag then changed paths towards the cafeteria, assuming that was where the student council normally ate. since today, you wanted to lounge with them for the break.
of course you told cyno and tighnari beforehand, who were the two you'd often eat lunch with. tighnari didn't seem to mind but cyno was visibly upset.
you promised him that you'd eat with them the next day, which somewhat lightened up his bitter mood.
upon arriving at the crowded cafeteria, you spotted the group sitting far back. however, you couldn't help but notice a few of them were missing.
"hey guys," you briefly greeted once you maundered on over to them. venti's eyes promptly lit up by your sudden appearance.
"o em gee y/n! sit with us," the man joyfully offered. you obliged, taking the seat next to him. aether, faruzan, and kazuha happily greeted you as well.
"hi y/n."
"hey y/n."
"greetings y/n."
though, your expression remained troubled as you pondered where the others were. "where's heizou, scaramouche, and xiao?" you inquired.
"well scaramouche and xiao don't like to eat here since it's 'too crowded' and heizou doesn't like to eat here since it's 'too loud.' so they usually eat elsewhere," aether shortly explained.
you nodded at his reply, taking a small bite from your sandwich before shooting another question. "where do you think they are?"
"who knows," venti shrugged his shoulders. faruzan was the only one who knew of their whereabouts, since she'd have to be the one to find them whenever jean asked for the three's presence.
the female looked at you as she placed her drink down.
"scaramouche is probably with xiao, the two like to eat on the school roof. but i believe heizou usually goes outside to eat. at the park," the female said.
you raised a brow, "i see..."
"you're more than welcome to go look for them if you'd like. besides, i'm sure heizou would like company," kazuha said with a smile, knowing why you had asked the question in the first place.
