the radiant sun painted the sky with hues of orange and gold, as a gentle breeze swept through the garden.
the sweet scent of the flowers surrounding you was profound, setting the most perfect atmosphere for your and heizou's date.
the two of you had been sitting down on a cozy picnic blanket, enjoying each other's company.
however, you were fully aware that you two were not alone. indeed from a distance, the presence of a certain duo was apparent.
in fact, it didn't even seem like they were trying to hide themselves as you could hear their chattering and giggling from afar.
knowing this would happen, heizou shook his head at venti and aether's predictable shenanigans.
that was before a wide grin slowly spread across his face as he realized now was the perfect chance to prank them back.
you sat across him, facing the male as he plotted inside his mind. sparky was with you as well, wrapped carefully around your neck since that was his favourite position.
"hey y/n, are you ready?" heizou suddenly called out to you, snapping you out of your mindless daze.
you nodded, and a grin as mischievous as heizou's appeared on your face. "let's do it."
by now, the two idiots were completely clueless and far too focused in their own bickering to notice the fact that you and heizou had already caught them.
your beady eyed albino snake laid peacefully around you, before you gently pulled him off of your shoulders. "alright sparky, all you gotta do is scare the shit out of them ok?" you said as if the snake could understand you.
and the bright glimmer in the little reptile's eyes was enough to inform you that it did indeed understand your words. with your smile widening, you placed it down onto the grass, before it slowly began slithering away towards the duo.
venti and aether had been sitting against an oak tree decently far from you, but close enough that you could observe them.
they seemed to be too engrossed in a conversation to see what was happening, which worked in heizou's favor.
sparky slowly but steadily approached the two friends, then slid above aether's leg from behind.
venti was the first to notice this. and once he did, his eyes widened as panic sprang up within his little body to the point he could hardly speak. "s-s-s-"
aether tilted his head in confusion, still unaware of the snake that was now nearly on his lap. "how about you s-s-s- spit it out. why the hell are you stuttering?" the blonde spouted.
"SNAKE YOU IDIOT!" venti yelled out as he picked himself off the ground and backed away, all the while pointing at sparky.
"HUH WHERE?" aether yelled back, frantically looking around. once he finally saw the reptile on his lap, he immediately jumped up and shouted "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT."
