the day of prom had finally at last arrived. the excitement revolving around this anticipated event was evident on everybody's faces.
though as thrilled as they were, there was a certain duo who had the complete opposite reaction.
"what the fuck are you doing?" scaramouche stared in disbelief at his totally not forced prom date.
heizou rolled his eyes, allowing a brief scoff to escape his mouth. "making sure i'm not recognized, what else?"
the indigo haired man's face only grew more concerned seeing that heizou was being absolutely serious. "how can someone so smart be so dumb?"
the mentioned male tried disguising himself by wearing one of scaramouche's hats, a black wig, and dark tinted sunglasses.
he had only one objective: to not be recognized by you. that couldn't possibly be so difficult, right?
"if you think y/n is seriously going to fall for this get up, you're dead wrong," scaramouche spoke as if he had just read the man's mind. "what are you so afraid of anyway?"
heizou scrunched up his nose in displeasure as he adjusted the hat on his head. "just shut up and go along with it."
despite the obvious likelihood of his plan failing, heizou knew he couldn't allow himself to be seen by you.
especially since he had already informed you that he wasn't attending prom in the first place.
he'd very much rather avoid the embarrassment than deal with it. even if that wasn't likely to be the case.
"alright i'm ready. let's go," heizou announced as he picked up his phone and wallet before hastily walking out the door.
scaramouche side eyed him, still unable to accept the fact that heizou was so confident about this working. he had to be a whole idiot to actually think you wouldn't notice him.
but alas, heizou was not the only one who was experiencing such a debacle.

"y/n can we go now?" kaveh called out as he looked at the time on his phone. he'd been waiting for you to get ready for the past half an hour.
you quickly picked up your belongings, and made sure one last time your outfit was looking fine on you.
despite a part of you really not wanting to go to prom, you couldn't just ditch kaveh last minute.
