"...And this is Dorothea Thornton, or Dor as we call her. She's a kook but if i'm honest, she's one of us. Her dad pretty much owns most of the buildings on the island, and her family is like the richest folks in the whole Outer Banks, hanging out with the Cameron's and all. Despite being born in a cradle of gold she likes to work to earn her own money and not depend on her parents. She works at 'The Wreck' Kie's parents' restaurant, they both been close friends since they met, you could say they're best friends. She's the best surfer i know, she reached Nationals, although she hasn't been seen surfing much lately. Sometimes we go to the beach together, i like her company, she's not at all a spoiled brat like everyone in Figure Eight, she's actually very kind. Everyone in the group wants to join her, except for JJ, he has something with the girl that could be described as 'hate' but if you ask me, he's crazy about her... I mean, who wouldn't be?"
