Authors note:
Before this chapter starts, a quick note. I'm going to start putting pictures of outfits and places to give the story more visual. I think that it would help a lot instead of having to explain every little detail.

It's just easier to write for me. Anyway, that's all my baby bees. Enjoy the chapter <33

Finally when the day was over and the last bell rung, my phone buzzed. I assumed it was Joseph texting me. I opened my phone to see a random number.

(529)-xxx-xxxx:
2658 Glen Street
*(fake street)*

Yeah it was definitely Joseph. I saved his number and texted him back.

Me:
Thank you. This means a lot!

It took him a minute or two to text back.

Joseph:
Be safe. I know that, "that bar" isn't safe.

Wow. Why is Joseph telling me to be careful? I thought to myself.

I made it outside to find Bree and Ryan talking by his car. As I got closer I heared them talk about Chloe's party.

"Are you going?" Bree asked. Ryan just looked at her.

"Yeah. Sure. I'll go. As long as you're going," He said flirtatious. I could see Bree blush a little. Maybe Ryan did have a chance with her.

"Hey guys, what's up?" I said as I got closer. Both Bree and Ryan looked at me and waved.

"Hey Alex, I was just telling Ryan about our plan. The more help we have the more successful it will be," Bree said with a smile.

I rolled my eyes. I wasn't mad at her for telling Ryan. Ryan was our best friend and we needed to include him in out activities more.

"Yeah you're right. I mean 3 heads are better than 2," I joked.

"Listen, I need to go home. My mom is leaving tonight and I want to make it so I can say goodbye" I said.

Again, I only told them half of the truth. Yes, my mother was leaving tonight, but I didn't tell them that I was driving half across town to go see if Aries was still alive.

"Oh, yeah that's fine," Bree said. She walked up to me and gave me a hug. I hugged her back. She let go and wispered to me, "Ryan asked me on a date so I'll definitely be busy tonight,"

Wow! Maybe Ryan does have some guts anyway. I thought.

"Have fun," I wispered back, and walked to my car.

I had made it home, with no difficulty, to see my mother putting the last suitcase in her car. I got out and rushed over to help her.

"Oh, thank you dear. That means a lot," she said. It seemed she was out of breath.

Her curly dark brown hair was in a ponytail as she was wearing her glasses. She had blue jeans on with a white shirt and a cream colored cardigan on. She looks so good.

"Yeah no problem," I said. I closed her truck and faced her. She grabbed my shoulders, which took me by surprise, and gave me a huge hug. When she let me go, she had tears forming in her eyes. Before she quickly brushed them away with her finger.

"There is lost of things for you to do around the house to keep you busy. And food in the cabinets and fridge. And if you run out, I left some emergency money in am envelope, on the counter," my mom said in a rush.
