First Love

Chapter 22

I walk towards the gate of the school and see Rishi standing there. I walk towards him smiling. I was thinking of going to his class only first and talk to him today too.

"Hi" I said reaching and standing next to him.

"Hello" he said smiling as soon as he heard me as he was looking inside until now.

"You are waiting for someone?" I asked raising my eyebrows still smiling. It is kind of awkward as I confessed liking him but we are working things out.

"Yes. You" he said taking a step closer to me. I looked away blushing and he chuckled.

"Let's go" he said and we started walking inside side by side. He held my hand when we were climbing the stairs.

"What are you doing" I said trying to take my hand away from him.

"I can hold your hands now" he said clutching them tightly

"Someone will see. Please" I said looking with puppy eyes at him and everywhere around us. He left my hand but pouted the whole way to his class.

"Okay, listen if one of the teachers saw us they will make a big matter out of it. You know how it is in our school" I said and he nodded.

"I just wanted to hold your hand" he said pouting and looking down sulking.

"I know I do too but I don't want drama right now" I said smiling at him a little. He looked up at me and nodded his head. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it as he saw something behind us.

"Hi" Dhruv said coming from behind us and we shifted away from each other instantly.

"Hello" I said waving my hand and smiling at Dhruv

"Let's go inside" he said looking at Rishi. Rishi looked at me once before nodding his head. They head inside and I watch them going towards their seats. Rishi turned back and we make eye contact. Let's tease him a little and I winked at him. His eyes opened wide and he looked back at everyone around him before looking back at me and giving me an amused smile. I wave my hand at him and head towards my class.

We decided not to tell our friends for now. We will inform them after some days. We want to first get used to each other before they start teasing us about literally everything.

I sit next to Shraddha and say hello to her. She smiles looking at me and continues doing her work. I look at her notebook. She was preparing notes of chemistry. I have a bookworm friend.

"Send these to me, please" I said and she smiled nodding her head

"What were you smiling about while entering the class" she asked. I was thinking about Rishi but I cannot tell that to her.

"I don't remember must have been thinking something" I said and she nodded her head.

"That place is dirty, let's sit with them" I said pointing to where Rishi and his friends were sitting in the canteen. Shraddha nodded her head and we walked towards them.

"Hi" I said reaching their table. Rishi grinned at me. Everyone said a hello and we both settled in. Rishi shifted in his seat looking at me and moved towards him. I was sitting next to Rishi. Shraddha sat next to Dhruv and Rohan.

"You both are sitting together" Dhruv said wiggling his eyebrows teasing us. I shook my head and Rishi glared at him.

"We both are sitting together too" Rishi said pointing at him and Dhruv. Dhruv scrunched his nose and shifted away from him.

"Shift a bit more please, will you" I said and he did which resulted in him being almost falling and we all laughed. Dhruv glared at me before sitting properly again. I shut my mouth looking at his glare but again start laughing as Rishi pouts at Dhruv and he gets up from the seat and move to another side.

"I see, you both are even teaming up against us too" Dhruv said while moving to the other side.

"Not against everyone just you" Rishi said and I laughed looking at Dhruv's face. It was like all colour was drained from his. We all ate our lunch teasing and having fun together. The bell rang and we ran back to our classes.

School was finally over now. I just want to go home and sleep now. I and Shraddha get up and we start walking out of the school. I see Rishi and his friends also heading out and I start heading towards them.

"Ishaaa" I heard Ayush's voice and I turned back with an annoyed face. Shraddha stooped walking too but she didn't turn around. She just kept looking ahead.

"What do you want" I said raising my eyebrows

"You know I have a secret of yours. You shouldn't talk to me rudely" he said huffing and I glared at him. It took 300 rupees to convince him not to tell anyone anything and now he is blackmailing me. I will kill him.

"Ayush, do you want something. I am in a hurry" I said sweetly and giving him a fake smile. He smiled back at me and asked me to turn back.

"Nothing, I just wanted to walk with my friends" he said walking beside me but looking at Shraddha. I look down at the ground with a faint smile. Some stories are meant to be much more hard and painful. I guess.

I rush out as I have to still say bye to Rishi. I look around getting out of the school's gate but I don't seem to find him or any of his friends. I sigh and get in my bus. I think he already left. I pout and settle down on my seat. The bus starts moving.

I saw Ayush running behind my bus waving his hands. I look at him and see him pointing towards Rishi who looked to be searching for someone. He was standing at the gate looking around. I smile seeing him and we make eye contact. I wave my hand in bye at him and he gives me one of his beautiful smiles.

I am really very sorry for posting after so long. I was just not able to think what to write and how to continue.

But here I am posting another chapter and I hope you all like it.
