First Love

Chapter 2

I heard the horn of my bus and rushed to pick up my bag and leave for school

"Mom the bus is here. I am going. Bye" I said

"Okay, Take care and eat your lunch" mom said

I went inside the bus and sat on the seat near to the window. I don't usually talk to anyone in the bus so I sit alone.

"Hi didi" Afaq said
Afaq is my one year junior. He is the only one with whom I talk in the bus

"Hi Afaq" I said

"Today you were right on time generally we have to wait for about 20 mins before you come out" he said

"No, I am always on time" I said

"How about yesterday we had to wait for about 20 mins before you came out" He said

"It was just one day and that too after holidays i can take time to get up" I said

"What about last year every day" He said

"Don't you have anyone else to irritate" I said

"I do but its just fun to rile you up" He said smiling like an idiot and I gave him him a hard look.

"Go away" I said and he obliged

The rest of the ride was normal and I did not talk to anyone else the whole ride to school.

I was going towards my class but something caught my eyes. It was Rishi. he was sitting in the middle of a bunch of students and was talking animatedly. Everyone around him was laughing. This scene brought a smile on my face as well and I went to my class.

I saw Shraddha was already present in the the class when I reached. We did our weird handshake that we started doing when we were in 6th grade.

"Today the assembly will be in class only. We don't have to go downstairs and listen to the principal today" Shraddha said grinning

"Yeah, I just don't get it how can she speak for 35 minutes daily" I said

After assembly we all got settled in our respective seats and the day started.
