Lorenzo's POV

I was in my office catching up on the work I missed when we were partying yesterday. Hades barged in the office and I raised my brow at him. "You could knock, you know? Everyone in the house does."

He rolled his eyes at me, "dude, I'm your best friend. I'll barge into your room at any hour of the night, I don't give a damn if you think I should knock to come into your office. I'm here more than I'm at my own house."

I scoffed, but ultimately let it go. He'd never knock. "Where's Ana?"

His face turned pink, interesting. "Uh, your sister and her are playing at my house."

I loved watching him squirm. I know he's attracted to my sister, I haven't ever seen him look at a girl the way he did Mir. I just don't know how I feel about the two of them together. I don't know how well she'd do as a Donna. She's got spunk, but I haven't seen her being interested in training. Although, she's a Marchetti, she might just surprise us all.

"So, you ran over here to my office because my sister was playing with your daughter? That's a little weird." I was smirking at him, I just wanted him to admit it to me. I knew Hades would be good to Mirabella, but I'm afraid he won't take the chance for them to be happy. I know damn well I saw my baby sister drooling over him. I saw her come to the realization that he was my best friend, I saw the conflict in her eyes and the defeat on her face. She doesn't realize I'd do anything to keep her happy because I refused to lose her again. She's brightened our lives just as she had when we were younger.

"Uh, yeah, I'm sorry. I probably should have stayed at my own house. Uh-I'll just go." I laughed at him stuttering. A mafia don, my ass.

"Sit, Hades. I saw the way the two of you were looking at each other. It's not ideal, knowing my best friend has the hots for my youngest sibling. I want you to keep in mind that she's been through enough. She was a human punching bag, man. She's got a good outlook on things now, but she's good at attempting to hide her struggles from us. She'll do the same to you. She also never left her house, so she doesn't have much life experience. You have quite a bit. I know you would be good for her, but I'm not entirely sure she'd be a good Donna. I haven't seen her show much more interest in the life other than her books. I know she's still in the boot, but she hasn't really had any questions. So, take that as you will, but I still think you should run it by father. Also, you should let it go at Mira's pace if you decide to pursue her."

He was staring at me slack jawed. "Uh, o-okay. I'll think about it. I'm just nervous because she's younger, she wouldn't want to be a step-mother at her age. She deserves to live her life, but I do think she's beautiful. She's good with Ana too. It makes my chest hurt when I see her play with Ana so well. Her own mother wouldn't do that and a girl who's known her all of 3 seconds plops to the ground and plays with her. I don't know if she'd make a great Donna, but hell she'd make a wonderful mother. Although, she's kinda fiery, I wouldn't put it past her to be a good Donna. I think I'll take a little bit to think about how I feel about this situation, but I am appreciative of your support Enzo. I think you have a hell of a sister."

I nodded my head and went back to work, but my phone started ringing. Startling Hades and I to hear Ana crying hysterically saying someone was in the house. Hades and I both jumped up and gathered my brothers.

Mirabella's POV

Ana was giggling in front of me. I was braiding her hair and we were talking about our favorite Disney princesses. We had been watching them all day. Her favorite was Snow White, while mine was Belle. I loved the library in the movie, but I also loved the love story. I mean come on, I was hardcore crushing on a man who lived up his name. I've heard the boys talk about Hades and he was a scary man, but damn was he fine. Anyway, back to Ana, she stopped talking to me about princesses and I turned on some music after we finished braiding her hair. We were dancing when I heard something thump across the house, I pushed Ana behind me and grabbed the gun my dad gave me.
