Chapter 6

Recess. Baldhart stood at the top of the playground with Calvin, Jorgelino, Leaf, and the girl who had been coaching Claire, Skyley. The five kids dressed up as fifth graders. Each wearing a pair of converse, a plain t-shirt, and a pair of jeans. The fifth graders just got a box full of chocolate milk bottles and, as Calvin said, it'd be a shame if something were to happen to them.

Leaf opened a bottle and, holding it over the edge of the playground, dumped all the milk onto the wood chips below. Calvin, Jorgelino, and Skyley did the same as Baldhart stood watch. It was glorious. The rain was coming down, the milk splashed against the wood chips, coating them in a darker shade than they were previously; and Baldhart had a front row seat. When all the milk had been poured, the five kids quickly ran inside before they were late for class.
