"Fitzwilliam, what happened?" Starbuck asked when Fitzwilliam and Carfudel Coopenforgen returned from the Headmistress's office. Fitzwilliam just put his head on his desk.
"The first graders got off the hook. They told Dunder-Head that we were pushing their buttons, and they just got sent to their rooms. The two of us have to clean the boys bathroom for a month." Carfudel Coopenforgen said, flopping into his seat at the back of the classroom.
Fitzwilliam lifted his head off the table. "The first graders' math class is substituted by Mr. Hiney! With him in charge, we could get away with anything! We can get back at them for giving us cleaning duty for the next month!" Fitzwilliam said. The group of fifth graders broke out into giggles. "What are you laughing about?" He asked.
"You said 'duty.'" As soon as Peaches said that, they started laughing harder.
"You are all the human version of crumbs in the bed." Fitzwilliam mumbled, putting his head back on the desk.
