Monday, school, first thing in the morning.
I walked up to my locker, picked out my NOTES notebook, and read the words out loud.
"Science, Mathematics, English-" Then a small whirlwind of black and blue interrupted me, closed my locker door, then fell to the ground. "Andrea, be careful!" I said through gritted teeth. She stood up clumsily, her black hair a mess from the fall, "Not, in my vocabulary sweetheart," she said with a hand on her hips, "We're... Science first right?"
"Yeah," I said as I tried to unclog my trucker jacket from the locker door,
"Open it dumbo," Andrea said, opening it for me, common sense Lianne, common sense.
"So, do you know why sir Lance disappeared so suddenly?"
"Heard it was because that he was promoted to another school, why?"
"Nothing, I just kinda miss him, he's a really good teacher, I mean it." Well, she does shell out compliments to nearly everyone, she sees so...
"Must be a shocker to find out your husband is moving schools," She continued "While pregnant, ma'am Geraldine has been absent for a while too right?"
Then, she passed by.
17 years.
After 17 years she decided to show up in my life and turn my world upside down.
"Oh, sorry for bumping into you,"
"It's... alright."
No...it was more than alright.
As she left, her face melted into my memory, as questions flooded my brain. Who was she? Why was she so familiar? Where did I see her before? Why is she stuck in my head?
Before I knew it, this unknown girl had me lovestruck.
