"Why were you running? Did you steal something?!" The woman questioned, sounding equally nervous and angry. "No! I would never steal anything!" Robin knew that was partially a lie; she went through her chapstick shoplifting rebellious phase just like all her other friends in middle school. "Im just new around here, and someone surprised me" The woman's face softened at Robin's vulnerable tone. "You're just a child, aren't you?" The woman inquired, walking toward Robin to see her better. Up close, the woman seemed giant compared to Robin's five feet and six inches. Robin would've been more intimidated by the woman if she didn't look so kind. As the woman got closer, she seemed to examine Robin's face, she glanced at the side of Robin's head, and her face went pale. "Your ears... You're a human!" the woman murmured. The other woman's face also went pale in shock. She was still standing by the entrance of the treehouse; also very tall but shorter than the older woman; her hair was blonde and tightly tied up in a bun with the same golden ring that the girl Robin had run into in the woods had to keep her hair up. Her eyes were a brilliant shade of yellow, and she had the same green tattoo on her forehead as the other two, along with a face covered in freckles. "Harlow." the older woman turned her head slightly and exclaimed, "Go ahead and tell Eileen to prepare some warm soup and bread for our guest," She then turned to face Robin. "You must be starving," Her voice was so soothing now after having been so shrill and hostile towards Robin. The younger woman, Harlow, stiffened her posture at the older woman's command and nodded before turning and quickly walking out of the treehouse. "I am Renata. I rule over these woods. I apologize for startling you, but we elves pride ourselves on keeping our home safe." Her voice was strong and assertive as she introduced herself; meanwhile, Robin's introduction seemed meek in comparison. "I am Robin. Thank you for not killing me...." She murmured; Renata's confidence was almost as intimidating as her anger. Renata cackled in response to Robin, "Let us head to the pub. Eileen will not disappoint your appetite," Renata grinned, swinging her arm around Robin and leading her out of the treehouse.
