Jacob's POV

I sat quietly by the window lost in thought as the Cullen's conversed with the pack. I was finally pulled back to reality when I felt a hand on my shoulder. Looking up making eye contact with Bella. I couldn't help but take a few steps back to get away from her touch.

Her eyes seemed to soften and before I would have found this cute but now I find it quite annoying. I'm not sure but maybe because now I understand a little bit better about why Alexandria was keeping secrets. Honestly Shifters have a long history of hate against Vampires and here it was he was mated to one. I still didn't know Alexandria and her family's full story but everything happens for a reason.

Bella: How are you doing?

I could tell her concern was fake. Since she found out about Alexandria being my imprint, she's been trying to spend more time with me. Key word trying. It's really put a lot of things into perspective for me.

Jacob: I'm fine.

Her eyebrows furrowed together as she took a step closer and began to reach a hand out. I took another step back.

Bella: Are you su-?

Jacob: I have to go.

I walked off before she could say anything else. As soon as I stepped outside I walked up to Sam.

Jacob: I'm heading out.

Sam eyed Jacob with a knowing look.

Sam: Alright, I'll see you for your training tomorrow.

I nodded before jogging off and hopping onto my bike, speeding off.

Alexandria's POV

I'm completely trashed sprawled out across a couch. My five hybrids are on the floor completely passed out. I was busy checking out Taylor when I heard erratic knocking at the door. I looked around at the hybrids who didn't budge at all. They're completely useless. The erratic knocking return causing me to roll my eyes and groan as pulled myself up from the couch.

Just as I made it to the door I knocked over a vase, before whomever this idiot was began to knock a third time. I jerked the door open and grabbed the knuckles of said person causing the knocking to come to a halt. I met their eyes with a glare.

Alexandria: Next time, I shove your fist up your ass!

Jacob: Sorry! I just had to see you.

He walked past me into the Penthouse.

Alexandria: Why yes, come on in.

I stated dryly as I closed the door and turned around only to have a giant chest in my face. I sighed before meeting his eyes with a bored expression but he looked as if he had so much to say. Instead he cupped my face in his hands before pulling me into a kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He slowly slid his hands down my sides before grabbing my thighs and lifting me up, pushing me against the door.

His blood already smelled appetizing but his arousal made him smell devine. I could feel my fangs come out and I bite into his bottom lip causing it to bleed. He pulled back and studied my face before softly caressing my cheek. Ignoring the pull of emotion in my chest I crashed my lips onto his before placing my feet on the floor and speeding us to the room.

I stopped right in front of the bed and lightly pushed his shoulder causing him to fall onto the bed.

Alexandria: Aren't you worried about me having my way with you?

I ask as I climb on top of him flashing my Tribrid face. He slowly studied my face before he said the last thing I expected him to.

Jacob: Drink from me.
