The Original Hybrid's Twin Part One (Jacob Black)

The Pack

The sound of my phone ringing woke me from my drunken sleep. I groaned as I picked my head up from a toned tanned chest. Looking up and seeing the handsome human from two nights ago. I had to lean over him to get my phone off the nightstand.

On The Phone

Alexandria: What?

Elijah: Well, good morning to you too, dear sister.

I groaned and threw my head back onto a pillow.

Alexandria: Why are you calling me so bloody early, Eli?

She could hear him sigh in frustration.

Elijah: It's almost noon and you've been gone for two days. We need you to meet us at the house the pack of this town meets.

I scoffed.

Alexandria: And why on earth would I do that?

Another sigh from her brother.

Elijah: Because we'll get along better with them than the fairies.

I rolled my eyes.

Alexandria: Whatever!

End of Call

After showering and getting dressed I started to head out of the door but a voice stopped me.

Derek: You're just going to leave without saying goodbye?

I turned and smirked at the naked man on the bed.

Alexandria: Don't worry love. You'll see me again.

With that I walked out of the luxurious apartment then sped downstairs and into one of the many nice cars. After about thirty minutes I was pulling into what I assumed to be the Alpha's home. Or temporary Alpha. As I got out of the car Eli and Bekah pulled in behind me and a few people made their way onto the porch. Then what I assumed to be the Alpha stepped forward and with what I guess he thought was a threatening voice.

Sam: This is private property! What is your business here?

I couldn't help but roll my eyes as I turned to my brother.

Alexandria: Are you serious about this?

Just as Elijah went to speak another figure stepped forward and made Alexandria's blood boil.

Jacob: Alexandria?

Alexandria remained calm and rather bored as she turned to face him.

Alexandria: Jacob.

She could tell her tone of voice upset him but she didn't really care. Elijah took this as his cue to take lead in things for now, so he cleared his throat gaining everyone's attention.

Elijah: I'm Elijah and this is Rebekah. We're Alexandria's siblings, perhaps we could talk inside?

After a woman named Emily stepped outside with a huge grin, we were immediately invited in. I could see they noticed how only baby Gilbert took a seat at the table as we stood behind him. I decided to lean against the wall with my arms crossed because I'd rather be anywhere else. Jacob's eyes haven't left me since I got here. I also noticed how the only female shifter and a seemingly angry shifter refused to take their eyes off of my siblings. I was snapped out of my thoughts by the one known as Sam.

Sam: Well, who is this?

Eli and Bekah glanced at Jeremy but my gazed remained bored and not really focused on anything or anyone. I spoke up of course.

Alexandria: This is baby Gilbert.

Before any of the pack could respond like clockwork Jeremy began to bicker with me.

Jeremy: It's Jeremy. Stop calling me baby Gilbert.

A smirk rose to my face as I turned my gaze to Jeremy.

Alexandria: Aww, did I strike a nerve, baby Gilbert?

The tension rose as Jeremy glared at me and my smirk continued to grow. I could smell Jacob's jealousness. Rebekah laughed finding the whole thing hilarious. Elijah of course cleared his throat.

Elijah: If you two are finished. We would like to offer our help in the upcoming weeks.

The room grew quiet before Sam spoke.

Sam: What do you mean?

I rolled my eyes already impatient with the shape shifters. I pulled out my flask and took a sip before answering.

Alexandria: Look, we know there's an army of fairies coming to forks to kill Jacob's girlfriend.

At this the room tensed and I just took another sip of my flask.

Alexandria: Now, in all honesty I hope they kill her. But regardless we need baby Gilbert here, helping you kill some fairies.

The whole room stayed quiet as Emily walked into the dining room with muffins. Finally after I lazily grabbed a muffin Sam spoke up. Although he seemed very hesitant and careful with his words.

Sam: Wouldn't it be more dangerous to allow a human into a fight with, what you call fairies?

I couldn't help but smirk as Jeremy seemed to groan knowing exactly where this conversation was headed. I stepped up behind Jeremy and placed my hands on either side of his neck.

Alexandria: We'll it's a good thing he's not a normal human.

And before any of them could react I broke his neck and his head hit the table. They were all stunned into silence, no one dared moved.
