Jacob's POV

The fighting happened fast. Everything seems blurry now as I try to breath through the excruciating pain up my side. I need Alexandria beside me. I groaned in pain as they laid me on the bed.

Sam: The Doctor will be here as soon as he's finished.

I can only give him a curt nod as a strong smell gets closer. Sam gives a nod back and quickly heads outside to check it out. I can hear a muffled conversation outside the house but the pain is so unbearable I can't seem to focus on the words.

Alexandria's POV

******

As soon as I hear Jacob's howl of pain my attention turns in his direction. He's okay but my emotions keep trying to find a way out and I focus my anger on the fairy trying to sneak up behind me. I catch his torso in my jaws as he attempts to get out by punching me. I bite down hard and toss him to the side when he broken into pieces.

While everyone else is distracted by the Italian fairies, I quickly head off to check on Jacob. Quickly I change back and get dressed before walking out of the woods near his home. His house is being guarded by the pack of shifters.

Sam: What are you doing Alexandria? I thought you didn't care about Jake?

Instead of answering I shrug.

Alexandria: Just thought I'd come and make sure he's not dead.

Just before anyone could respond to her statement Billy opens the door and everyone immediately goes quiet as he studies me.

Billy: Alexandria. I hate that we are meeting under these circumstances but please come in. I'm sure you'd like to see Jacob just as he wants to see you.

I can't help but glance in the guard dogs direction with a smirk before heading into the small house. Once I made it into Jacob's room, I immediately noticed his distress. I sighed as I took a seat in the chair by his bed. He immediately grabbed my hand and his eyes met mine.

Jacob: I'm waiting on that bloodsucker doctor to come and fix me up.

Regret immediately crossed his face and he groaned in pain.

Jacob: I'm sorry. I didn't me-

I held my hand up to stop him.

Alexandria: No need to apologize. I am indeed also a bloodsucker.

He studied my face for a moment before he hesitantly spoke.

Jacob: But that's not all you are. Is it?

I looked over his sweat covered face. Knowing the pack of shifters were still outside guarding the house, I changed the subject. I grabbed the glass of ice water by his bed and dumped it out into the plant. I bit my hand and let some of my blood drain into the cup. Jacob watched my every move and once I held the cup up to his face he seemed confused. I couldn't help but roll my eyes and sigh in annoyance.

Alexandria: Drink.

With a questioning look he took the glass and almost studied it before downing what was in the cup.

Jacob: What's this going to do?

I shrugged as the doctor stepped through the door. He gave me a once over before getting down to examine Jacob. It didn't take him long to realize he was already healing.

Carlisle: Well it seems as if you're already healing properly Jacob. Did you help him, Miss Mikaelson?

I shrugged my shoulders and glanced at my nails.

Alexandria: All I did was give him some water.

Of course he didn't believe me and we could hear a truck pulling into the driveway.

Carlisle: Well, that would be Bella. I should head and check on my family.

Jacob kept his eyes on me as Carlisle walked out of the house. Before either of us could say anything we could hear Bella yelling from outside.

Bella: I need to see him!

Paul: I think you've done enough.

Before anyone could say anything more I speed out of the room and to the front door. Just as she was about to argue back I opened the door and leaned into the doorway.

Alexandria: Jacob is just fine. No thanks to you and your fairies.

Bella: You're worse than the Voltori! Get away from him.

All I could do was smirk at her, as I heard Jacob slowly get out of bed. I could smell her fear from where I stood.

Alexandria: You're right. I am worse. So much worse. And I don't think it's a great idea to piss me off. Or I'll drain you until you're barley alive to witness me kill your stupid mind reading fairy. I think the pack would appreciate my help. Don't you?

I could see the anger and fear brewing inside her. I wanted the anger to win. I wanted so badly to rip her throat out. Her gaze shifted just over my shoulder but mine never left her. Even when his hand rested on my shoulder.

Jacob: Bella, I think it's best if you left. And be sure to stay on your side of the border with your bloodsuckers.

Her mouth dropped opened. She scoffed as she stuttered out a response and my smirk seemed to grow bigger.

Bella: H-how can you say that when she-?!

Jacob: When she what?

Jacob voice came out demanding and I couldn't help but be turned on by it. Bella seemed to grow more brave.

Bella: When she's a bloodsucker too! She's more dangerous than they are! Her and her family!

Before anyone could say anything else I had already speed over to Bella. I hand her by the throat dangling in the air in front of me.
