I was scared.
Numb.
Alone.
All in one.
Fewer words ever said to me
"I love you"
"Stupid kid"
"Ungrateful"
"Selfish"
"Lazy"
"I love you"
When I remember my childhood
In sepia-toned film,
It burns slowly at the edges,
Always close to catching fire.Moments I've had,
some gone forever
Even now, my memory is only half full.I can't ask what happened
But everyone knows,
Even as I don't.Like sitting in a room full of people,
but always alone,
with no one to talk to.
