I haven't written to you in years,
But I realize I don't have to

I say these pretty words as I think them to you
And the smile you show makes me feel so happy

You dazzle me in ways I haven't been able to express

You shine light on my darkness, exposing my skeleton for all to see

But for you, I'd shed all skin to be embraced by yours
