I lay in bed again,
Mitski on repeatI feel the soil of the sheets,
Beckoning me to join the earth once moreRoot bound by the duvet,
No moisture in sightThe sunlight barely registers,
Is it morning or noon still?
Why can't time stop for a moment,
Let me catch my breathMy eyes shut as I succumb to the peace of rotting slowly
May flowers grow in my place,
At least they won't waste what I have
