Waltzing around the house,
Just us two
Barefoot on the cold hardwood
But warmed by each other's hearts
Our world, set aloft in a box
The house of cards, stacked against us
It rains here when we want it to,
Under the covers,
Just us two
A fire going, growing tenfold
Even in the distance, the sirens play their song
But with you by my side,
It won't be very long
So we sleep in each other's arms, or back to back
Lulled by each other's silence
