Spot's POV

I wrapped my arms tighter around Madi's small frame, kissing her deeply.

When we broke apart, I leaned my forehead against hers.

"I love you so much," I told her, my voice nearly a whisper.

"I love you too," She whispered.

She smiled at me and kissed me again.

This is how things should be. Just me and the love of my life, alone, forgetting the worries of leading our newsies, the strike, and the disaster of the rally.

Madi pulled away from me and kissed my nose, making me blush lightly. She giggled.

Gosh, I love that giggle.

I love this girl.

No girl has ever made me feel the way Madi does.

The way butterflies erupted in my stomach when she kissed me, the way she could make me blush with just a word.

One day, I vow to marry this girl.
