Chapter 1

Erza POV
I was sitting in a pub, taking a break from traveling back from my last job. I was at the bar when I heard a group of men talking behind me. "So you did the deed?" one of them asked. "Yeah I got the girl erigor wanted and I'm in my way to break the seal to get the flute," another spoke. "Good, now don't get caught, I don't need erigor going crazy over your mistakes," the first one said. "Alright, gotta go, see you at the station," the second one said and he walked out. 'Erigor, where have I heard that name,' I thought but ignored it, what worried me was the fact that they had a girl in their hands. 'I better get back and ask batsu and gray for back up in this,' I thought to myself, getting up and walking out.

Gray POV
I was at the guild fighting natsu, per usual. I was distracted for a split second by a bad feeling I was getting, but I ignored it and kept fighting. But before I could get another hit in, Loke can in the door looking freaked out. "We got bad news, it's Erza, she's on her way here," he said an the whole guild started freaking out. "Oh man, you just mention Erza and the whole guild just goes crazy," the new girl Lucy said to mirajane. "Well she is the strongest female wizard in fairy tail, and more than a little intimidating," mira said back. Then we heard loud booming foot steps, "yeah that had to be her, I recognize those foot steps," mauco said worried. The Erza walking in the door with a large horn thing and set it down in the guild hall floor. "I have returned, now where is master makerov," she asked. "Welcome back Erza, Master is at a conference right now," Mira said sweetly. "I see. Are Natsu and gray here?" she asked and me and natsu came forward with our arms wrapped around one another acting like best buds in complete fear. "Right here Erza, hanging out like the good buddies we are," I said. "Aye," natsu said after. "What happened to Natsu?" Lucy asked shocked. "Good to see your getting along, but it's normal for even the best of friends to fight every once in a while," Erza told us. "I wouldn't say were the best of friends," I said, and nasty replied with an 'aye'. "Natsu and Gray, Im in need of your help, I heard something on my way back that caused me to worry, normally I would consult the master before taking action, but he isn't here and this is a matter of utmost urgency," she said with a stern face. "You too are the strongest wizards here, will you accompany me on this important mission," she asked and me and natsu looked at each other. 'Me and Natsu on the same team' I thought to myself in distaste. I hated the thought, but I had to go along with Erza's orders and help her out, but couldnt help hit have a bad but good feeling about this whole thing. I nodded in agreement with Erza and natsu did the same. "Very well then, we'll meet at the train station first thing in the morning," she said and walked away. I walked out of the guild to go pack, but could shake the feelin off. It was eating at me all night, but when I fell asleep everything was fun.

Jessica POV
I was woken up by the sound of the door opening, an I looked up to see erigor in the door way. "Ready to go?" he asked. I glared at him but nodded an stood up. He tied my wrists together abd took me to a group of his underlings and told them to watch me. "What are you going to do?" I asked him and he ignored me and walked away. "Move pipsqueak, we have places to be," one of guys told me and pushed me along. I just listened to the guy and walked along.

Gray POV
We were on the train and Erza knocked out Natsu so he wouldn't suffer from his lotion sickness. "So it's about time you filled us in, what kind of mission are we going on," I asked he and Lucy looked over interested too. "Well, on my way back to the guild I stopped at a pub for a drink. While I wa there a group of men came in and started talking sercretive. I listened in and they were talking about a deed that one of them had to complete. Then on of them started talking about a girl that their boss need and something called lullaby," she said. "Lullaby?!?" me andLucy said at the same time in shocked. "Like that thing from before?" Lucy asked. "So you've heard about it," she asked and we nodded. "That could be of some help, but anyway. In of the names that was said is that of a wizard named Erigor, a wizard that was part of the guild Eisenwald, he was a wizard that would only take assignation requests, he was known as Erigor the reaper," Erza said. "They guy killed for money?" Lucy asked in shock. "Yes, and even after the Magic Council banned assination requests, he continued to take on the jobs. And as a result him and his guild was kicked out of the magic guild leagues and were told to disband. But the guild still remains active to this day, killing for money as a dark guild," Erza explained. "So what's the deal with Lullaby and the girl you mentioned, what does she have to do with this," I asked her. "That I don't know, they never mentioned a name or what they needed her for, but im worried about if they hurt her or not," Erza said. Then she knocked her fist against natsu's head and shouted, "if only I had recognized Erigor's name that say at the pub, I could have put a stop to their plans before they had the chance to begin them, I could have forcedvthem to tell me about their plans and where the girl is located," she said frustrated. " you couldnt have known that they were planing on hurting anyone, it isn't your fault," Lucy said. "I get that but I could have saved that innocent girl from the claws of that assassin," she said looking guilty. "It isn't your fault, all we can do now is stop them and save the girl," I told her and she nodded. Now we just have to save the girl and stop Lullaby before they can use it.
