Izuku hung Through the Dark Twilight on a hanger in his (nearly) empty closet. He dressed himself in casual clothes.

Izuku collapsed on his bed, listening to a heartbeat. The Arpeggio of the asperation, was contradicted by the Berceuse of the adoration. He turned on his side trying to get some rest.

Izuku's eyes caught onto a framed photograph on his end-table. It was him and his fellow captains. There... was BongBong in the background waving and... and... her. Delilah.

Something wet landed on his bed. Tears. Why was he crying? He... couldn't cry! What...

He moved his body, marching to the bathroom door. Taking off his face mask he put it on his table. Opening the door to his bathroom, he moved himself in front of the sink. He gazed up, and met the broken mirror.

His... tears. They... they were...

In a swift motion he cut his wrist to compare the colors.

The were the same color.

Pure. His tears were pure.

A sobbing laugh escaped his lips as he dug his fingers into the sides of his head. "Hah... look at me... s-so pure..." he gazed down at his arms, "This... flesh... this binding impure prison..." he began to laugh again, "B-But I... I can feel it. My t-true flesh- Kahkaka!"

His speech was interrupted by a manic cackle. "Can't you see? CAN'T YOU SEE!?" Izuku's arms flew upwards. "Look at me! Gaze upon me! Make me Pure!" His head gazed upwards.

Suddenly he folded in on himself, "W-Why... I never wanted this... why are you doing this?" He hugged himself, "S-So distant still there... why!?"

Suddenly he jumped up and his body went slack, like a puppet. "Don't fret... don't fret..." his voice became smooth, "You shall understand soon.

His body soon became rigid. "Why do you all care so much. It will be over soon." His voice now lacked any and all emotion.

Izuku shook his head. "Tch. Damn it. I need to remove that damned mirror."

He left the bathroom put his face mask on and crawled into his bed. Turned away from the photo, and slept.
