She opened the door and was shocked at the scene infront of her. Karan lay on the bed in the middle with both the kids sleeping on his sides. All 3 of them sleeping like a log! (Almost like this)

Kriti looks exactly like Monami, same hazel brown eyes and hair but she has inherited Karan's attitude - no nonsense, strong, practical. Monami often calls her Khadoos Junior. Manan, on the other hand, has truly inherited his dad's looks, handsome and taller than most of the kids of his age. But at heart, he is a mini Monami - soft natured, sensitive and always thinking about others first. Karan often called him "Mumma ka carbon-copy".
The trio just looked so cute together, that Monami couldn't stop adoring them.. this is her world, her life. But the next moment, she realised what she had come here for.
Monami (fake anger): "Haww Khadoos Shergill! Tumhe baccho ko uthaane bheja tha, aur khud bhi sone lage! Saare ke saare shaitan ho tum teeno! Abhi ke abhi utho saare warna!!!"
Karan, Kriti, Manan (opened their eyes and whined, together): " Mummmaaaaaaaa! Sone do naa. Kyu chilla rahe ho"
Monami: "kyaa mumma!! Raat ko humne decide kiya tha na ki aaj pura din bahar jaane ka plan hai, itna kaam hai. Toh ab ye nautanki kyu uthne mein?"
Kriti (while still lying on the bed) : "mumma! Hum kya karenge bahar jaake. Chhodo na.. itni acchi neend aa rahi hai, sone do na" Monami: "Arre but tumhi logo ne new movie dekhni thi na. Ab kya?" Kriti: " Mumma movie toh ghar pe bhi dekh sakte hain na. Hume na..hmm.. haa..woh new movie nahi dekhni. Hume na ek purani movie dekhne ka mann hai tv pe!" Monami: "Accha ji, kaunsi? " Manan (squeaked in his kiddie tone): "The incledibles" Karan caressed Manan's cheek (mera pyaara baccha, he thought) and clarified: "The Incredibles" Kriti: "Haa mumma, The Incredibles! Mumma aap aur Papa toh superheroes hi ho na.. bad logo se dishoom dishoom karte ho, main aur Manan bhi aapke jaise hi banenge.. toh huye na hum The incredibles jaisi family. Wohhi dekhte hain na pleaaase! " Manan (nodded cutely) : "Haa mumma, main bhi same keh laha tha"
Monami: "itna butter health ke liye accha nahi hota mere baccho! Kisi aur pe try karna, not on me! Kittu ab bahut ho gaya, utho. Aur Mannu.. tu Kittu ki baato mein mat aa.. bhool gaye hume movie ke baad shopping bhi karni hai"
Kriti: " Nahi na mumma. Bahar nahi jaana. Aap dono ke saath ghar pe time spend karna hai. Mon-sat toh humara school hota hai, phir homework, aur phir evening exercises hoti hain. Phir sone ka time ho jaata hai. Aadhe time ya toh aap mission pe hote ho ya Papa. Ek Sunday hi ho toh milta hai aap dono ke saath"
Now Monami was stumped, her little daughter reminded of her own self when she longed for her parents time when she was her age and couldn't get it because her mum was serving the nation and her dad was busy with the new hospital. She quickly sat on the bed and calmly said : "toh bacche, tabhi toh bahar jaane ka plan kiya tha, ki hum chaaro khub masti karenge. "
