When I woke, my head was aching, and my eyes were swimming, so I sat up and rubbed them a couple of times while they adjusted. Once I could finally see I slowly got up and got myself ready. After showering and washing my hair I made my way downstairs to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. When I got downstairs, I saw the gym door still open, and I walked inside to see a couple of glasses still lying about. I guess I should take them out to the bin and the others to the kitchen. I walked outside and remembered the get together, spending time with Catra and mom asking Ms Hope out. I put the empty beer glasses in the bin then went to the kitchen, I put the empty champagne glasses next to the sink and went to make my breakfast. As I was walking to the toaster to put some bread in, I noticed a letter on the island table.

Hey Sweetie,

I've gone to the training grounds as Coach Micah and Spinnerella wanted to have one last training session before the match tomorrow. I'll also find out the team news today and I'll tell you when I get back home. Also, your physio sessions will be starting on Monday, so be ready by 10am. Don't forget to take some paracetamol for the pain and your medicine to help your recovery. Have something other than toast for breakfast, I've left the eggs out, keep trying to make an omelette! See you by 4pm!!

I looked at the time, 1pm. Hm, maybe I should try to make an omelette and have toast with that. I quickly had a paracetamol with water and then tried to make an omelette. It still wasn't good, the pieces kept breaking apart and I couldn't properly fold it. By the time I finished it was 2pm, wow it definitely shouldn't take me this long to make an omelette and toast. After finishing my brunch, I went into the living room and sat down to continue watching the Owl House.

"Mom, is that you?" I shouted.

"Hey Sweetie, yeah, it's me. Do you want to hear about the team news for tomorrow?" Mom asked?

"Of course!!"

Mom sat down on the sofa next to me and smiled. "Ok so the team is pretty much the same as the last match except Heejin and Mermista are being given a rest. Obviously, you're not playing. Micah and Spinnerella have decided to give 2 academy players a chance."

"Cool, who are they taking from the academy?"

"So, they're playing Yukari in your position. They're giving Meela Gaela who plays on the wing and her girlfriend Lysithea who play full back a chance to prove themselves. They are very determined and strong minded players. They are both 17 and Lysi is stronger than Meela, but Meela is very quick. Other than that, there isn't much new news from the team."

I started to reply when mom interrupted me. "After th..."

"OH, right I forgot...um... sorry. Mermista proposed to Sea Hawk!"

"What!! Aww, it's about time. Why did I have to be injured right now. When are they planning to have their wedding?"

"So Spinnerella's and Netossa's wedding is in November, Mermista said she planned to have theirs next year in February."

"Ok Cool, I can't wait. They're going to hold it in Salineas right?"

"Of course, they are. They're both from there and they love the sunset that appears on the beach."

"Ok, now I definitely can't wait!"

"Right well it's nearly 5pm so I'm going to do some cleaning and then at 6 I'll start making dinner."
