I sighed, not knowing what to do with the knowledge I had acquired.

On the one hand I could just ignore it and forget about it eventually, whilst on the other I could dwell on the information and let myself wonder what other concepts could develop from the information I had acquired.

Either way I would think about it the entire drive back to my parent's house as no matter what I tried to think about to distract myself my thoughts kept betraying me.

I sighed as I drove out of the carpark and headed back to my apartment, careful of the many pedestrians crossing the roads. I had a long drive ahead of me and I needed something to keep myself occupied with but Donnie leaving his camera on by accident was not something I needed to be thinking about.

I turned into my street, finding parking relatively quickly as most of my neighbors were still away for the holidays.

Hopefully, Fritter would be sedated by the time I got back upstairs and ready to go. I sighed as stepped onto the top floor landing. I had 2 suitcases to carry downstairs and then I had to come back up for Fritter and lock up but going up and down 5 flights of stairs didn't seem like the greatest idea at that moment and I had a long drive ahead of me.

Opening up my door, I noted Fritter was behaving much more passively as he trotted around very slowly, having calmed down a bit from the sedative.

I heaved my suitcases downstairs, taking a break on the second floor landing before I powered through the rest of the way. Rolling them across the lobby a man I had never seen before held the door open for me as I headed back outside.

We shared short pleasantries before he headed upstairs and I went to my car before I headed back upstairs to fetch Fritter. I sighed, making it to the fourth floor before my ankle decided it wanted to start aching.

I leaned against the banister, flexing my ankle, warming it up slightly until the aching stopped. I was just about to head to my door when the vacant apartment's door opened.

It was the gentleman from earlier.

He tall, about 6.4, with dark brown hair, blue eyes and rather fair skin as his short sleeved t-shirt showed off. Then again if I was built that well I would've also showed off what I had, even of it was freezing December in New York.

"Hello again", he said, smiling at me as I adjusted my ankle again.

"Hey. You must be new to the building", I said, standing up straight again.

"Yeah, I've been slowly moving in since last week since a lot of my stuff was still coming in from Michigan", he said, leaning against his door frame. "I haven't seen you around".

"I don't tend to dwell in the communal spaces so it's harder to catch me", I said, flexing my ankle again to make sure the aching had stopped.

"Really? Who are you hiding from?", he asked, crossing his arms over his chest and I noted the tattoos that decorated his arms.

"Housewives", I said, heading back upstairs. "Beware".

I heard him laugh as I made it back onto my floor. It was deep and sounded somewhat jolly, it wasn't a laugh you would expect from such a tough looking guy.

I opened my door to find Fritter passed out on his bed. I sighed, trying to wake him up but he just opened his eyes, looked at me and continued to sleep.

"Come on, you overgrown lug. You've got to walk down the stairs yourself", I said, lifting him up, trying to get him to stand.

Damn, the vet prescribed a really good sedative.
