I sat up as I pushed myself out from under the Shell Raiser, having finally found the mysterious leak and fixed it. I wiped the oil from my hands as I looked for my phone, waiting for Avery to call me as I had a call scheduled with her during the last hour and a half of her drive.

Everyone else had left that morning to do their own thing.

Mikey and Ralph were spending time with a few old friends from our teen years for a few days whilst Leo and Master Splinter had gone with Casey and April to April's family cabin in hopes that Leo would be able to recuperate faster if he was surrounded by nature for a few days.

That left me alone at home to watch over everything and I was thoroughly enjoying it as a few days of peace gave me some time to myself to do everything I needed to.

I sat down in front of my computer, logging in to track Avery's location as she should've been on schedule from what I had gathered that morning. I checked in on her and, oddly enough, she was behind with the discussed schedule and besides myself someone else was tracking her.

I called her immediately.

"Hey, Donnie".

"Hey, Avery. Quick question. Does your insurance track your car?"

"Only when the impact alert goes off. Why?"

"There is second signal being transmitted from your car. I've traced it back to a rest stop about 120 miles out from your position".

"Wait a minute, Donnie. Are you saying I'm being followed?"

"No, not necessarily followed but someone, besides myself, is tracking your position", I said, pinpointing where else her signal was being transmitted too.

"I'm pulling over. I'm going to start freaking out if I get any closer to home knowing some creep put a tracker on my car", she said, the sounds of her indicator going on.

"I can block it from here but only when you're not moving. You have to get it off before you start moving again. Just pull off where other people can see you", I said, trying to pull up any kind of surveillance cameras nearby, trying to get a visual.

"There's a couple of cars still on the road going either way so it should be fine", she said as the sounds of rustling, her seatbelt unclipping and her door opening could be heard.

"Just be careful. I still don't have a visual on you yet", I said, finding a camera about 2 miles ahead of her at a 7/11.

"I thought you had satellite tracking, mister. I'm less than impressed with you", Avery said, the sounds of her boots sinking into the snow could be heard as she walked around her car.

"Unfortunately, ma'am. There isn't any floating in orbit above you at the moment and if I moved one then I would be raising some red flags at NASA", I said, finally picking her up on a traffic camera. "I've got a visual. You look nice today", I said before I could stop myself.

Avery looked around, trying to find the camera I was using to watch her before she continued to look for the tracker. "I'm not going to even bother to figure out where you're watching me from but I'll just be grateful that you are watching and thank you".

"Anytime but just be careful. Whoever is tracking you could be feeding your location to someone on the road and unfortunately, I can't get another visual for the next 2 minutes until an actual satellite passes over you".
