In the year 2032 and the world we know and love is gone because of a deadly virus was unleashed and it turned humans into flesh-eating monsters and destroyed human civilization.

- I sat there in the ditch with miles in the cover of the night waiting for the Anthros to get further away from our position -
- As I waited I could only think about my comrades at the fort but that was short-lived as the virus took its toll and began rushing to my head causing me to squint in pain -
Miles: " I think we are good " - He whispered-
- After he said those words I quickly brought the glow stick from my belly and let the purple rays touch my skin causing the relief that needed to flow through me like water-
Jonathan: "That's better " - I sighed in relief -
- I started to get up from the lying position and then Miles did the same. When we both got up we both walked onto the road facing the direction where their anthro went -
Miles: "What now?" - Miles asked -
Jonathan: " We head to fort hope and warn them about the threat " - I replied -
Miles: " You mean to walk in the same direction as the anthros "
- I nodded in response -
- I heard Miles sigh -
Miles: " Why exactly do we need to warn them
Jonathan: " Look it's the only settlement that's the closest and plus I got friends there " - I explained -
- After explaining to Miles I felt the virus kick in once more causing me to hug my chest which caused miles to take out a backup UV glow stick -
Miles: " Fine let's get moving and by the way, I am only doing this so you don't turn " - He said while hooking the glow stick to my other strap -
- With that being said we both started to walk down the road in the dark -
- Our squad walked down the long road for a couple of hours after our little encounter with these mutated infected humans and as I continued to walk with my group I looked around our surroundings, I only could see trees on both sides of the road that we were walking on -
