Before You Go (Skephalo)

Chapter 4

When Skeppy woke up, Bad was gone. He looked around for him but there was no sign of him. Skeppy texted him, waited, no reply. Confused, Skeppy tried calling him, again, no reply. He shrugged it off and decided to go out and do something while he waited for Bad.

He walked around town until he found a cute little coffee shop. Skeppy went in and bought his favorite drink, along with a blueberry muffin to go. He smiled at the muffin, imagining the face Bad would make when he gave it to him. All Skeppy wanted to do was make Bad happy. Seems ironic due to all the trolls, but, he loved making Bad happy.

BadBoyHalo was walking around town too. He wanted to get his mind off of Skeppy. Maybe he just gets super tired, but he could've sworn he felt.. something.. last night. He did almost leak his credit card from sleep deprivation once, so it's definitely possible, but the more he thought about it, the more he realized he had always felt this way. The butterflies, hot face, excitement, and fidgeting might not just be because they were really good friends. Now here Bad was, secretly buying gifts for Skeppy to give near the end of their meetup.

He remembered waking up in the middle of the night. Skeppy and Bad weren't quite cuddling, but they weren't not cuddling. They just kinda laid back to back. It was simple, but it made Bad feel...

Bad shook off the thought and continued walking.

Bad never thought about his sexuality, but being around Skeppy was making him all fuzzy inside. No. He was just nervous to be meeting his best friend. At least, that's what he told himself.

Skeppy sat down, drinking his coffee. He stared at the muffin and thought about Bad. He found himself missing his best friend. Did he scare him away?

His thought was interrupted by the door opening and a familiar voice ordering. He smiled to himself, of course Bad would come here. Once he finished ordering, Skeppy decided to sneak up behind him and scare him.

"Boo!" Skeppy said as he wrapped his arms around Bad.

"Aah-!" Bad yelped.

Skeppy let go and started giggling as Bad turned and looked at him.

"Skeppyyy!" He wined.

Skeppy giggled some more. That's when he noticed Bads face. Was it.. red? Oh no, Skeppy must've embarrassed him! To make up for it, he decided it was a good time to show Bad the muffin he got him. When he saw it, Bad smiled wide and happily took it.

"Aww Skeppy thank you." He unwrapped it and took a big bite. Skeppy smiled and grabbed Bad's now finished order for him. Bad reached into the bag and pulled out another blueberry muffin. Both started laughing.

"Great minds think alike, huh shorty?"

Bad laughed. "You forgot were standing right next to each other. Everyone can see that I'm taller."

"Yeah yeah. Whatever you say." Skeppy jokingly protested. The two began walking out together. "Where do you want to go today?" Skeppy asked. It was Sunday and Vidcon started Wednesday, so they had some time just to themselves.

"I heard about some really cool theme parks in Cali, we should try to find one." Bad smiled.

"Perfect!" Skeppy grabbed his hand and quickly led him back to the hotel. Skeppys rental car was there.

The two got into the car, pulled up directions, and drove ten minutes to the nearest one. Skeppy put on his custom playlist. It included a lot of Faster remixes and cute songs like "Tongue Tied" that reminded him of Bad. They happily sung along to every song. They were both imagining how amazing this day would be.

They bought their wrist bands and fast passes, and walked inside.

Bad pointed at a really tall roller coaster and squealed, "Oh my goodness, Skeppy, look!"

Skeppy looked up in awe as Bad took his arm and started pulling him to the line. Due to the fast passes, they didn't have to wait at all and immediately got on.

Skeppy started shaking but wanted to look tough in front of Bad. Bbh put his hands on the bar and looked forward in anticipation. Seeing Bads smile made Skeppy calm down just a bit. Suddenly, the ride started slowly creeping out.

"Oohh! Skeppy!" Bad said excitedly.

"Yeah- Yeah I know-" Skeppy nervously replied.

Skeppy held onto the bar tight as he prepared himself. The ride reached the top and stopped.

They felt so much anticipation until.. Bam! The roller coaster dropped. Skeppy started screaming as Bad let out a loud squealing mixed with laughing. Skeppy grabbed onto Bad's hand as he continued screaming. Bad started squealing even louder as he squeezed Skeps hand back. Skeppy soon calmed down a little and started to enjoy the ride, laughing with Bad. The roller coaster slowly came to a stop and the two hopped out.

"That was awesome! Lets go again!" Skeppy yelled.

Bad laughed, "i'm glad you liked it, you muffinhead."

They got off and Skeppy grabbed Bad's hand again as they headed to another coaster. Bad blushed and looked at Skeppy for a reassuring smile, and that's exactly what Skeppy gave him. Bad blushed more and squeezed Skeppys hand. They continued holding hands until they reached the next line.

They got on the ride and this time, Skeppy was the one holding onto the bars with anticipation. Both of them were excited about the ride, but all Bbh could think of was the way they held hands. It made him feel all bubbly in a way he's never felt before. Suddenly his mind started imagining him and Skeppy locking lips. He wanted to pin Skeppy to a wall and kiss him until the sun came up. Bad was so lost in this fantasy, he hadn't even noticed the roller coaster start moving until Skeppy nudged him.

"Bad! Bad! Its starting! Oh my gosh- Bad!" Skeppy shouted in excitement. Bad shook off his thought and got back into the moment.

"Eeee! Skeppyy!" Bad squealed right before it came to a stop. Bad was the one who grabbed Skeps hand this time, right before the roller coaster dropped. All that was heard from the two were squealing and laughter. Neither of them ever wanted this to end.
