Before You Go (Skephalo)

Chapter 13

"Goodmorning!" Skeppy cheered. He had been up and ready for about an hour or two. Bad rolled over and covered his face with a pillow, making a muffled, grumble sound. Skeppy began pulling on the pillow, trying to get it out of Bads grip. "You go home tomorrow." He yanked extra hard and got it. "We have to make today perfect."

Bad sighed and sat up. Skeppy covered his mouth to prevent laughing at Bad's bed head. "What?" Bad questioned.

"Nice hair, Bad." Skeppy giggled.

Bad ran his hand on top of his head to feel it. "Oh my goodness."

"Go get ready. I have somewhere I wanna take you." Skeppy gleamed.

Bad got up and started brushing his hair. "Oh?"

"Yeah. I spent a lot of time this morning looking for a perfect spot"

"Aww." Bad smiled at Skeppy. "Can't wait to see it." He said before closing himself in the bathroom to get ready.

Skeppy looked down at his phone. He had the whole day planned out in his notes app.

He felt a bit of nervousness in his stomach as he read the list again, and again. He imagined number "14" the most. All the ways he could do it. All the ways he could finally feel it after all these years. He didn't even realize he was smiling until Bad closed the bathroom door, causing Skeppy to snap back to reality.

"Alright. I'm ready. How do I look?" Bad smiled. He was wearing a black, zip up hoodie and blue jeans. His hair was brushed and placed perfectly.

"You look.. Really good." He smiled. Skeppy, himself, was wearing a blue shirt and black jeans. "You ready then?"

"Yup. Although I would've liked to sleep a bit longer." He giggled

"Don't care. I'm more important." He teased as he led Bad out the door.

The car stopped at a movie theatre.

"Really Skeppy? You woke me up for some stupid movie?" Bad crossed his arms.

"Hey. Its not just a movie. I have our whole day planned. And I always imagined we'd go to a movie together on our first.. hangout. I wanted to do it on the first day but.." Skeppy giggled. "It wasn't ready."

"Fiine." Bad groaned as he got out of the car. Skeppy got out aswell and they started walking in together. "But you better have picked a good one."

"I think.. You're gonna be pretty surprised by my movie choice."

"Whats that supposed to mean?" Bad questioned.

"Ah. You'll see."

Skeppy opened the door for Bad and they walked in, heading to the ticket stand.

"Yes. Two tickets for The Eggpire." Skeppy winked.

"Alright. You're Zak right?"

"Wh- Eggpire?" Bad questioned as Skeppy nodded.

"Your theatre is number 14. Enjoy."

The man handed Skeppy the tickets and he thanked him. The two began heading to the food area.

"Skeppy what do you mean Eggpire?" Bad questioned.

"Yeah, can we get a large popcorn." Skeppy said to the employee, ignoring Bad's pestering. He looked at Bad. "What do you want? You can get anything, my treat."

"Uuh-" Bad quickly grabbed a bag of peanut M&Ms and smiled sheepishly. Skeppy took it and put it on the counter.

"These M&Ms, and two water bottles."

"Alright. Cash or card?" Skeppy showed him his card and swiped it. The cashier nodded and handed him his items. "Enjoy the movie!"

"Thanks! You t-" Skeppy cut himself off and laughed at his dumb preprogrammed brain.

The two began walking to theatre 14 when Bad asked again. "What did you mean by Eggpire? Is that similar to our thing?"

"I'd say its pretty similar." Skeppy giggled.

"Skeppy what do you mean?"

Skeppy opened the door and shushed Bad. "Be quiet. Were in a movie theatre." He teased him.

"Oh my goodness. You are the worst." He replied as he walked passed Skeppy.

The two found nice seats in the center and sat there.

"Seriously Skeppy- Whats the Eggpire movie?"

"Stop getting so worked up." He nudged him. "You'll see."

Just then, as if on cue, the movie began. It showed a man dressed up as BadBoyHalo's character speaking to a man dressed up as Skeppy's. They looked almost exactly like them in real life as well.

Bad gasped in awe "What? Is this- Is this us? Is this our lore?"

Skeppy giggled, "Surprise."

Bad turned and looked at Skeppy. Skeppy had a big smile that was lightly lit up by the screen.

"H- How did you do this?"

"I know some pretty cool people." He replied before taking a drink of water.

"How much did this cost?"

"A lot. But its worth it to see your smile. Besides, I had some help."

Bad looked back at the movie where a man dressed as Dream's character was on screen. He smiled knowing what Skeppy meant. A bunch of his friends came together and made this for him. They knew how much Bad loved creating the Eggpire lore, and here it was on the big screen.

"How did I not know about this?"

"Well, it isn't an official movie. At least not yet. No one knows about this but the people who made it. I paid to have this theatre reserved for just the two of us." Bad looked around. He hadn't realized that the theatre was still completely empty except for them. "It took a lot of convincing to keep the actors quiet. They wanted to tell people so bad."

"This is.. The nicest thing anyones ever done for me." Bad teared up. "I.. could kiss you."

Skeppy blushed and almost went ahead and kissed him. The only reason he didn't was due to his elaborate plan to do it later.

"So theatre 14 wasn't just a coincidence, huh?" Bad nudged him, changing the subject.

"Shut up and watch the movie." Skeppy joked before taking Bad's hand into his own. "And no, it wasn't."
