The next morning, Atsushi and Yuichiro are walking to school. Yuichiro looked serious, while Atsushi was listening to music on his smartphone using the Wi-Fi that was connected from his previous life. But, in reality, Atsushi had a spirit rather than a demon. That spirit's name is Dahon, a spirit that originated in the Philippines. And then, both were greeted by Shinoa.
"Good morning!" Atsushi responded nicely and was in a good mood.
"How are you, Atsushi-kun?" Shinoa asked him.
"I am fine."
Within Atsushi, Dahon was serious, overlooking Atsushi's day-to-day things and life.
"Very good..." he uttered under his breath.
Dahon had powers that could rival those of demons and vampires.
Now back at Atsushi, Yuichiro saw someone being bullied by some students nearby. That person was Yoichi. Yuichiro decided to intervene despite Shinoa's warnings of the punishment that comes with intervening in a bully's act. But Yuichiro didn't care and did so anyway, only to get beaten up by Yamanaka and his small gang. Atsushi saw that and was taken aback. Now, worried for his friend, Atsushi prayed silently for him. Despite being reincarnated in a new world, Atsushi maintained his Christian Protestant faith, which was a transition from his Catholic faith in his previous life. In fact, a week before his death in his previous life, he converted from Roman Catholicism to Evangelical Protestantism but didn't get the chance of being baptized by immersion, which had taken place 2 days after his date of death.
