Shortly after, Yoichi was relieved to see that Yuichiro was fine and jumped towards him to hug him. "What are you doing?!" Atsushi responded to this, pretending to prevent his cover from being blown. Atsushi said that after his silent prayer for Yuichiro. Yuichiro then lost consciousness as a result. And then, after that, Guren announced to everyone that Yuichiro is now in the vampire extermination unit alongside Yoichi and Atsushi, even though both of them didn't do anything at all. Atsushi was very happy that he managed to be in that unit within the Imperial Demon Army. Dahon, meanwhile, was impressed by his effortless work to do so.
A few days later, while Yuichiro was on a bed in the headquarters, Atsushi was going to his ward to pay him a visit. But, he stopped at a restroom to wash his hand a bit. After that, he looked at the mirror, only to see someone else instead of his own reflection. That person was Dahon. "Hello there," Dahon positively said to him.
Atsushi was frightened and went backward to the stalls. "What the...? Who are you?!"
"My name is Dahon," replied Dahon back cheerfully, "and I am your guardian spirit."
By appearance, Dahon is a young boy in modern clothes and has black hair and red eyes.

Atsushi's jaw dropped in shock for a bit. "Wait, what...?"
Dahon then chuckled. "Yes, it might be hard for me to explain to you how is this possible, but for now, you are now my vessel."
"What? How is this possible? I'm supposed to get a Black Demon weapon in a few days' time!"
"Well, stay here, I'll explain to you how I came to be and how you became my vessel."
Atsushi then stayed in the restroom, while Shinoa and Yoichi were in Yuichiro's ward, waiting for him to wake up.
