Sweet star of my life
Angel of my heart
How beautiful you wereTreasure of my memories
Beloved of my soul
Still How dear you areFelled by beasts of iron and steel
Callous and unfeeling
Caught by the pavement
So cold and unforgivingWas it freely and knowingly
That you stepped into deaths path
Or was it merely accidentally
You were struck by misfortunes wrathWe were robbed of you too soon
My sister who loved you like a brother
My mother loved as she would a son
And I like I've loved no otherMy brother prayed for your return
And waited in hopes you'd wake
My father, to this day Still punishes
Himself for his fatal mistakeHad we not have let you go,
Had we kept you within sight
Would you be sat next to us
Still well and whole tonightI lay awake with thoughts of your eyes
So wild and wonderful, gazing wide
My hands become painfully aware
That they'll never again comb your hairYour lips will never again smile
Your hands will never feel warm in mine
I'll never feel the safety and comfort
Of you laying beside me at nightI'll never feel your kisses wake me
But the thought of you still takes me
Back to days joyful and lazy
That have yet to become hazyYou smelled of warmth like a golden sun
Your eyes Shone bright like little ones
I hope your up there in the stars
Even if it's painfully farIf you're up there where its cold
Knowing that you won't grow old
Your memories still shine like gold
And name is printed in bright boldLetters on our mind and soul
Dark and rich like blackened khol
You take our love to your grave
But we keep what moments we stole.Even after you met your fateful end
To you our kisses we still send
Rest well, darling, our Sweetest friend,
Pray someday We'll meet again.
