Chapter 16

Sixteen Years Two Months and Remembering
Day 7 in Chambers/zoom

Enforcer Calvin stood at the front today. "Good morning. Today we are going to call Nurse Clem u to answer what Elder River's requested her to confirm."
Nurse Clem who was sitting next to Cynthia's bed walked over to the witness chair. Then she sat down. "Nurse Clem yesterday Elder River asked you to confirm the drug testing for Jordan and Carver. What was the results?"

"After yesterday's finding we also tested their blood for Lycan blood too. The results were for drugs is they did on occasion smoke some pot, but never dabbled into any other type of drug. That neither Jordan or Carver had any Lycan blood in them."

"Thank you. You may rejoin Cynthia." He then turned toward Elder River. "Last night my uncle and Dr Patrick headed back with Jay and his family to the palace hospital. We have a few secure hospital rooms there. By this evening they will start the transfusion."

Calvin then nodded to an enforcer. The enforcer pushed a few codes and the cage started to rise. Inside the cage is Carver. When looking at Carver you see he has a black eye and split lip. Calvin looked at him, "who did you get into a fight with?"

He smirked, "Jordan and I had a disagreement. We were told we no longer will be put in same dungeon."

"We aren't here today to talk about your petty fights with Jordan. We are here to discuss why did you choose Cynthia to kidnap and rape."

"Why would I tell you that? I already know I am going to Lycan Isle."

"You aren't arguing what you did to Cynthia? You not arguing over the fact you betrayed your pack and crown?"

"Hey, I confess to Cynthia since you guys have testimonials and videos of me in action, but I never betrayed the king. I will admit I betrayed the pack because Jordan promise me the rank of Beta six years ago."

Calvin looked surprised, "six years ago? You are a little older than Jordan. You are telling me when you were twelve you started hatching this plot to take over this pack?"

"Unlike Jordan I took my training seriously. I spent my time at training when here. When Elder David who was Alpha at the time started training me back then in weaponry. By the time I was twelve I could even outshoot many of his men. They said I was a natural."

"Why did you listen to Elder David?"

"Elder David believed I could help lead a bad ass pack of hybrids."

"Where were the hybrids going to come from?

"Well you know about the first experiment. It was done on Jay. But Jay was not a complete success. Elder David felt it was because a rogue Lycan was used. Even if the rogue was the Lycan King's cousin."

"How did you get a hold of Lycan Yuri's blood?"

"Tell you what let us start to negotiate. You start to carve off the hard labor on the island and let me move to the other side. Plus you save my sperm before you make me sterile. I have no extended family. My parents are both dead. I don't want my bloodline to die with me."

Elder Rivers stood up and pushed a button. The cage started lowering into the ground. Calvin turned to see who activated the cage and saw Rivers by the control panel. "What the hell did you do that for?"

"As a pack Elder," and he looked at the jury we have to determine if we want to negotiate. I have a feeling if he turns evidence it will lead to charges of treason. Treason against royalty is the death penalty if guilty, and if he is wanting to negotiate the death penalty off the table.  As lead member in this room I have to call for a legal vote from Pack level and council level. Do we negotiate a plea bargain that might lead to indicting those who might be guilty of treason?"
