Chapter 19

I was busy yesterday with a bunch of errands. I just missed my Friday posting. Here it is and hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 19

Sixteen Years Three Months
Day 8 in Chambers/zoom
January 6 afternoon

At 12:45 everyone was back in their seats ready to hear more testimony from the IT SPECIALIST. Marvin stood up. "We ended the morning session about Carver being 16 years 6 months.  I do hope you all got your questions about vulnerability within the pack answered."

Councilman Gazelle spoke up, "free what has been revealed here we used our lunch time drafting a letter requesting a check on everyone going through a bad time and the orphans from every pack. We requested the alphas from every pack to send their names to us. These vulnerable pack members will no longer fall between the cracks. We will be sending care packages and counselors out to the packs to do wellness checks on them. Plus to make sure no one was missed. My secretary is right now typing up draft and we hope to get it sent out by late tonight." Everyone started clapping.

When the applause ended Enforcer Tyson said, Marvin please continue."

"Now click the soon button." Once he saw everyone had the check mark he said, "This is our sixth presentation about Carver. He is seventeen now. He talks about this being his first day of his senior year. He came back to his room and listened on what went on during the day. He heard Elder David and Davis talking about how they been drugging Rodney Draper.

They planned to use the home ec teacher, Mrs Styles to drug Carver and whoever else was in her cooking 101 class. She ordered the food once a week and plan had been to add a hypnotic drug into the ingredients. Carver once he heard that started swapping out the food. He would sneak in and night and exchange the food. He used the lab to test it. He stated he found Genomical Sitratis mixed in with all liquids and powder ingredients. He had copies of those test he performed. He stated for four weeks they tried it with no results. When he heard they were giving up on this plan he stopped swapping and testing the food after two weeks of negative findings. He indicated it was the delivery man who was sabotaging the food. The delivery man quit working and disappeared after that according to Carver's notes."

One of the councilman said, "you know so far we have seen on these positive post about him helping others. Yet I still remember him taking that one girl against her will. Was she in heat like he claimed with Cynthia? He was identified through his tattoo of the birds. Even if his face was never shown."

A member of the jury who was an enforcer spoke up, "I been thinking about that too. I have come to a conclusion he did give in to peer pressure. I think one thing we have to do is remember he is still a pup. He is not an adult. Yet he has shown more courage than most adults. He basically was being an undercover enforcer. He has had no real training. He only had tainted assassin training.  I looked it up and he went to four of the authorized sanctioned day camps. The four training were tracking, tracking 2, hand to hand self defense and help organizations around the country. 

Other than the enforcers in this jury has anyone ever done undercover work? I have and I done stuff I was not proud of but I knew would lead to the greater good of our kind. I do think you all need to look at it from that view. As an untrained undercover wolf pup I have been amazed at what he has done. 

He looked at Enforcer Tyson, "I think it would be beneficial for them to see that video they show for first day of undercover work. Then I think they would understand why I am amazed."

Tyson replied, "I will request the video link. Now let us move on to the last point. Let's click soon."

Alicia stands up, "this last presentation under Carver is  dated October 1. This is a couple weeks before Cynthia's kidnapping. A discussion between Elder David and Jordan. David tells Jordan how he is going to implement the plan to kidnap a girl from his pack. They did not name the girl. David just calls her crush. Carver admits he doesn't know whom they are going after until the day before Cynthia's birthday party. He talks about his guilt feeling when the unmated heat cycle hits. He talks about Jordan ordering them to wear condoms. He discuss about how upset Jordan is that Cynthia does not reject and force Xavier to become a rogue. This basically brings us to the trial."
