Chapter 15

Sixteen Years Two Months and Remembering
Day 6 in Chambers/zoom

The next day in the chambers the cell was back in place, but stood empty for right now. Both Enforcer Calvin and Enforcer Tyson stood in the front of everyone.  Enforcer Tyson walked over to where the microphone was and started speaking, "last night I received a phone call from King Bryant Baron. He stated he had waiting two miles outside the territory his Royal Guard along with prison transportation. In the middle of the night they swooped in and took all but the three members of Obsidian Moon Pack: Jordan Draper DeSari, Carver Cross and Jay Tasset."

He looked over toward, Elder River, "our king once he heard Cynthia plea he felt each pack should have their day in court. Each victim deserves a chance to choose if they want to view what was done to them and to confront their accusers. He has moved all prisoners that were being held here to the palace. The pack elders will come and be presented with the evidence and they will decide if guilty. They will decide their pack sentencing.

He has stated each person found guilty and declared rogue status from the pack will be sent to Lycan Isle Prison. This Isle is protected by magic and no prisoners can escape. Prior to being sent there they are sterilized so no pups can be conceived there.

On this Isle during the day during the day they are assigned hard manual labor and have cells to sleep in at night. If they get out of hand the Lycan gives out punishment. If they earn it they can get freedom, but they live on the other side of the Isle free of manual labor for the remainder of their days."

He then turned to the jury, "Those trials will be during the month of January. In February the Werewolf Council and this Jury will  review each recorded trial and determine if anyone committed treason. You will decide if anyone based on those trials might have committed treason. Those allegedly guilty of treason will be called before the king. He will be presented with the video evidence and if found guilty by our royal majesty he will decide if it will be death sentence or not."

Calvin then stepped forward, "today we will bring Jay Tasset before the Elder Council, the jury, and Cynthia." The door is opened and Cynthia walked in with Nurse Clem. They walk over toward the bed and medical equipment from the day before. She gets on the bed which is still reclined up and Clem starts hooking up the monitors. "We still are using safety protocols for the safety of the mother and pups."

Once Clem had all the monitors hooked up she said, "I am done. She looked over at two enforcers who were standing by the door, "if it gets too much  I want you two to help me get her out of the room." She then looked at Cynthia, "you will not argue." She then looked at Calvin, "we are ready."

His eyes glazed over as he linked someone.  Calvin and everyone watched as the cage lowered and it rose up and had Jay Tasset inside the cage.  The camera zoomed in on Jay's face. He was sitting on a chair and was cuffed to it. One enforcer walked over and stood by the cage door. 

Then the door opened and in walked Dr Patrick carrying a folder. Many wolves and the camera swung to see to see who was walking inside. He sat down in the witness stand. The camera was then aimed on Patrick. Calvin looked at Patrick. "Dr. Patrick you were  requested by our King to verify drug testing on Jay Tasset. Can you please explain how you did this?"

"I went down to the dungeons and took a hair sample in both wolf and human forms. It did include the root. I also took blood and urine from him. Then I tested to see if drugs were in his system short and long term.  The urine and blood did come back negative. However the hair follicles did show drug use. His drug use showed all the way to end of his roots. Based on thee length of his hair it went back at least a year. There is another thing this test showed. He had been drug free for three months.
