You were running down the hall in an imperial starship to the hangar.
You were in an orange flight suit.
There was a squadron of troopers chasing you.
You had your helmet on.
"Holy shit!" you exclaimed picking up the pace.
You finally got to the hangar and saw another pilot with curly dark brown hair.
A dozen troopers surrounded him.
You knocked them all out and grabbed the pilot by the arm.
"C'mon!" you yelled over blaster fire "we gotta get outta here!"
He nodded and ran behind you.
You found your ship and got in.
The mysterious pilot got in after you.
You took off as fast as you possibly could.
Once you got away from the ship, you sighed.
"Got a name?" you chuckled in relief.
"Poe" he answered.
"Poe...?" you asked hinting for more.
"Poe Dameron," he said.
"Cool, I'm Yn" you smiled taking your helmet off and looking at him.
He saw a small symbol under your eye.
"What's that?" he asked.
"Oh, just my soulmate mark" you shrugged.

He pulled his sleeve down and looked at his left wrist.
There sat an exact replica of your soulmate mark.
"We're soulmates," Poe thought.
You spent the rest of the flight getting to know each other.
You landed at the rebel base.
You and Poe exited the ship.
"I'll catch ya later Poe" you smiled waving to him, wrapping up the conversation.
"Yup, later Yn" he waved.
Later that night, you heard a knock at your door.
You opened it and saw Poe standing there in his normal clothes.
"Hey Poe" you greeted stepping aside so he could come in.
"Hi Yn" he smiled walking in and sitting down on the couch "Can I talk to you bout something?"
"Yup, go ahead" you smiled back sitting next to him.
"Do you know who your soulmate is?" he asked fidgeting with the wrist the mark was on.
"No" you answered suspiciously.
"Do you want to meet your soulmate?" he asked.
"I do. I really do." you answered "but I'm not gonna go looking for him, I mean, he could be literally anywhere"
His cheeks started to get warm.
"What if I told you I was your soulmate?" he asked hypothetically.
"What if I told you I already knew?" you shot back.
"What if I kissed you?" He asked.
"What if I do it first?" you smirked leaning over and kissing him on the lips.
"No fair" he pouted.
"Loosen up" you encouraged "you can do it this time"
He leaned over and kissed you thoroughly on the lips.
You and Poe had never looked so in love.
You gasped once the kiss parted.
"I love you Poe" you smiled.
"I love you too Yn" he panted.
