CHAPTER 2: At the mall

AT THE MALL:
We arrived at the mall and we all got down and walked towards the entrance. we got in and started walking towards the fashion department, but before the fashion department was the gaming department so we decided to stop by and have a little fun.

As we were going in, I stopped in my tracks and my eyes widened in realization, there are going to be a lot of boys there than girls. I felt a bead of sweat hanging on my forehead.
'Come on Deeya what are you waiting for' Mandy said while dragging me.
'Uhh... I...I want to...' I stuttered, nervously looking around for an excuse.

'You want to do what?' Ana looked at me with an arched eyebrow
'Guys come on are we going to spend forever here' Mariam exclaimed
'she's just finding a way to avoid the boys. Is not as if they bite. As for today, you must go in with us, there is no escaping' Juanita said while dragging me by the Arm.

I followed her like a lost sheep. To my horror, when we got inside there were 4 girls there and about 10 boys. Some of them were-play- fighting, while some were playing a racing game.
One of the girls was playing some game I couldn't comprehend while the other three were talking. They all turned to look at us as we waved hi and they all responded except three of the girls who looked at us like we were rotten eggs.

Everyone went back to playing while the three girls rolled their eyes at us and continued chatting. We finally dispersed and went to play games too.
I looked around and found all my friends busy, surprisingly they already made friends with some of the boys and they were being taught how to play some of the games.

I looked around for the third time, grabbed my phone, and sped out of there. As I was reaching the entrance, I bumped into a tall muscular figure and fell on my butt while the person stood there like a rock.
I looked up feeling dizzy and met the most beautiful hazel eyes I'd ever seen.

'Can you please watch where you're going?' a deep voice asked which sounded more like a command.
'I'm sorry I whispered
His annoyed look changes into a worried one as he extends his hand to help me up.

I took his hand and he pulled me up. As I stood up, I realized not only were his eyes beautiful, he was an entire artwork.
He looked like he was sculpted, he had thick and kind of bushy eyebrows, his lashes were a perfect length, and he looked heavenly.

He had thick curly brownish-black hair that covered his forehead.
He noticed that I was staring at him for too long, then he waved his hand close to my face, and I shyly looked down at my feet.
He asked if I was okay, I just nodded and then realized we were still holding hands then I immediately took my hand from him.

As I turned around for the third time to make sure I could still head out, I found all of them staring at me with mischievous smiles.
Then it struck me that they'd seen everything that happened between that guy and me.
The guy waved at me and walked away. Could he make the situation any worse?

I gestured for us to leave and we all left, we went ahead to shop for some stuff. And I could feel all their eyes on me waiting for me to tell them all that happened back there.
I ignored the stares, we shopped till we got tired and decided to head back home.
